I came here for a family stay. The hotel was much better than expected. We booked an executive king room and it was very spacious and had a big balcony. The pictures on tripadvisor do not show the rooms as big as they are! The bathroom was nice and had all the amenities. Breakfast was very good and there was a wide variety to choose from, including a live station for omelettes. However, on Sunday morning the queue was huge to get a table. Staff were very friendly especially Mohammed on concierge who couldn't do enough for us. One problem we experienced when we were there was that one of the lifts was not working correctly, and we didn't know until we got in. It was quite scary and upon telling the concierge (an older man- I didn't get his name) he was least interested. Would recommend this hotel.
"Modern executive hotel"
We stayed 1 night as part of an Insights "Highlights of Europe" tour. Although the hotel is located outside of the city core / tourist highlights, Insight chose it for its quality and amenities. Our room was large by European standards, modern and comfortable, wifi was good and service was very attentive. Breakfast was very good.
"Nice & quiet, a 30-minute walk downtown"
I've stayed a couple of nights in a room on one of their executive floors, which was spacious and well-appointed by European standards. Strangely, however, there was no coffeemaker in the room, atypical for similar hotels catering to business folk. No matter, the executive lounge was one floor below me and had a plethora of refreshments and beverages, coffee included. I found that walking to the city center was a nice stroll partly through the lovely English Gardens, getting out at Hofgarten. Getting back via taxi is about 11 Euro from Odeonsplatz. If I had been in a time crunch or wished to visit sights around town, I'd probably have wanted to stay closer to the center. Parking is abundant, in a 2-story underground garage, there's also a wellness center with a rather Lilliputian pool, and the on-site restaurants seemed nice, albeit from outside as I didn't get the chance to dine there. I've read a few reviews here and there about the hotel being somewhat aged, but to me it seemed all well-maintained and freshly overhauled, at least the parts I've seen. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a great quality - if frill-less - stay in Munich.
This was a one night business trip stay. Check in was very efficient. The bedroom was very well appointed. Had room service dinner and breakfast which were both excellent with the food being tasty and generous. The lounge in the lobby was excellent. Wifi was good. It is not in downtown Munich but is convenient for businesses nearby. Very pleasantly surprised and impressed!
"One of The Best in Munich "
I stayed at Hilton Park 3 times "Diamond Member "during 2016 and I visited Munich more than 8 times and stayed at Munich Marriott Hotel "Platinum member" frankly speaking I'm more loyal to Marriott than Hilton but when it comes to the Hilton Park I could say it is way better than not just Marriott but Westin & Sheraton Arabellapark "stayed at all of them" and I am not talking about my stays especially the last two at Hilton it was just unique a huge big Thanks to ANDREA DOPYCHAI supervisor-guest relations she has done everything to make our stay unforgettable. Back to the hotel location wise is just perfect right on the edge of the English Garten bus stop right in front of the hotel entrance Uber ride to the Marienplatz cost 10-15 euro I once waled through the English Garten and it took me around 30 minutes to Maximilianstrabe where all the boutiques are. Lobby, reception bar & Executive lounge gives the feeling of five stars hotel "Marriott doesn't" Breakfast the best of all hotels I stated above, tables with a view on the garten & river food selection, juices, Champaign omelette station it's just perfect breakfast. Tried the beef burger at the bar and it was nice. Rooms are perfect stayed at double, executive & presidential suite all well maintained clean and cosy. Don't hesitate to book this hotel trust me😎
