I stayed at the Nagoya Hilton during my stay and could not use the sauna, but I was generally satisfied. Except for the parking lot. But I heard that it was okay, but there was no inspiration for the price.
"Good Hotel, Excellent Service"
An expensive but good hotel centrally located, offering very good level of service. Review based on a one-night stay in November (background of spending 80+ nights per year in different hotels around the globe). Location: It has a central location but due to late arrival (and early departure) I did not have chance to check out the neighborhood in any detail, seemingly included a number malls, shops, restaurants and bars. Limousine bus connecting with the NGO airport stops right next to the hotel, took roughly 65min to reach the airport (cost 1200 Yen). Room: Got an executive room at 26th floor, it was big but not superbly large. No stains or signs of usage anywhere, the whole room was clearly renovated not so long ago. Décor was simple and clean, nice touch of having sliding doors & window shades in the traditional Japanese style. The room was very quiet with no noise from the other rooms or from the street. Two bottles of water as complimentary. Etc: Executive lounge at 26th floor was very nice, on the level of the best lounges I’ve seen anywhere. Hors d’ours was good with a wide variety of offerings, the same can be stated about the breakfast. Friendly and fast check-in & out. Would I return there' Yes I would, a good hotel with excellent level of service
"A + PLUS REVIEW"
As a flight crew (captain) for a major International airline and I stay at many hotels I give the Hilton an A + PLUS rating. Rooms are clean, service is excellent and food excellent. Location in Nagoya, Japan is also ideal for anything one might want to do. Shop. sight seeing and entertainment!
"An outstanding hotel "
Hilton is a prestigious name and it really means. Staying in Hilton, you can get things unexpectedly more than satisfactory. We arrived late at 9:00 pm after a long journey and we were instantly offered a late check out the next day, for which we really appreciated. The expatriate staff there with native English speaking, unlike many other Japanese hotels sometimes you are exhausted to make a lot of body language, made everything runs smoothly and despite the executive lounge closed by the time we arrive, still we were offered a drink. The room we stayed had been recently refurbished, though there are some area appeared to be out of balance in my opinion, did offer a dustless, comfortable and quiet environment for our relaxing stay. The breakfast was OK though not too impressive. Price is reasonable in view of its convenient location a few steps to subway station, with lots of shops and restaurant around. Highly recommended.
"Very good but not cheap"
Fantastic in every way, however it comes at a cost. No complaints about anything and the staff were great and spoke perfect English (if this is what you want). It is not cheap but if you are happy to pay the price then i'd recommend it. When i stayed the hotel seemed very quiet so not sure if this is normal but it was great
