The hotel was very well appointed. The amenities were very satisfactory and the customer service was great!Comment of P. Julio , United States the 2014-05-22
While traveling with my wife for the Prime Time Convention, we stayed at the Riverside Hilton. The entire staff members that we engaged with was extremely nice and professional. The location was great and was key for the convention while staying within walking distance to everything. The local outlet mall was just and added feature for the trip and the location right on the Mississippi River was just a great added feature. The location was key also to be able to get a pedicab for going downtown to Bourbon Street for nightly entertainment was great. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms are cleaned daily by the great HK staff member's. They have a nice social bar area that will accommodate right many people, which also includes a restaurant in-house with a huge selection to eat. When in New Orleans i would highly recommend staying at the Riverside Hilton for the staff and location to many things. Staff , job well done.
"Poor cleaning and service"
Was not well maintained room, erratic cleaning, no coffee replacement, cold showers. Paid extra for room upgrade that turned out to be lower quality than the standard room a friend was in. Huge disappointment
"My favorite hotel in NOLA"
The Hilton Riverside is my FAVORITE hotel in this area and I try to stay here every time I visit. The hotel is located across from the Harrah's casino and a short walk from the Convention Center. I also love that Drago's is on level one of the hotel. Although the hotel is at the end of Poydras and may take you an additional few walking minutes to get to where you are going, the hotel has many perks. The hotel is also connected to the mall at the Riverwalk to make for easy access to shopping. The staff is always very friendly and attentive when checking in and with any questions.
Stayed here for LMC conference. Rooms and food were very expensive. Room they gave me was already occupied. Security Guard helped me since my key would not work. When he opened the door with his master key, there was a man in there pulling up His pants. He said "what the h _ _ _'" Sure was glad the security guard was with me. Breakfast buffet was around $25. Seemed rather high. Also no complimentary coffee. Very expensive.
We were in New Orleans for a business meeting and some pleasure, We stayed in a Riverview room on the 21st floor and had a very relaxing and pleasant stay, The staff was generally friendly and pleasant. Wait for elevators was very acceptable, The mattress was one of the most comfortable I have slept, Bottom line is that we would certainly repeat.
