The hotel was very well appointed. The amenities were very satisfactory and the customer service was great!Comment of P. Julio , United States the 2014-05-22
"Left early....so bad"
We left a day early - flew home although we has paid for the night. Small outdated rooms. Nothing luxurious, nothing interesting, no reason to stay here - and I am a long time Hilton Honors member. Shower faucet was coming out of the wall (Rm 1511). Breakfast was cold (not lukewarm, but cold congealed sausage). Both pools are shaded for most of the day and a freight train runs BETWEEN both wings of the hotel. Seems to cater to groups and conferences. Argh.
"Mardi Gras Fun"
Had a great experience. Discovered that the mall was down stairs on the last day but that's fine because we WILL be staying at this property again!!!! Really really really enjoyed our stay and the centralized location!
"Girls' Getaway Trip"
Although this was my second time staying at the Hilton Riverside, it was a pure pleasure to return. From the speedy check-in (although it was a very busy weekend- All-star), and great room accommodating service by Raye (front desk), which she definitely did her best to provide my friends and I an amazing riverview, we were very well satisfied. And as expected, the rooms were clean, towels and washcloths were stocked at all times... therefore, there was no need to request more throughout our trip (Kudos to the cleaning staff), as some hotels lack this necessity and service. I can honestly say, the Hilton Riverside wears its' name proudly. From the lobby to the room, and the fabulous Dragos restaurant; the Hilton Riverside is well equipped for relaxation and great food. Here is a hotel that entails great customer service, cleanliness, and great seafood... all-in-one... The Hilton Riverside is where it is! Btw- must I add, unlike most New Orleans hotels, it remains modern and superior overall!
Centrally located! Great atmosphere. Clean and good sized rooms. Minutes from everything. Desk staff was personable and efficient. Bellmen were hit and miss. Starbucks on site! Restaurants were slow, but the food was good.
"A ypical conference hotel that close to the French Quarter"
We stayed at the Hilton Riverside when my wife attended a 3 day conference in Dec 2016. it is pretty much a typical conference hotel. It is walking distance to French Quarter and as a matter of fact it has a street car stop just outside the door to the French Quarter. This is a big hotel, lovely and upscale. When we check-in, they have ice fruit juices and ice water in the lobby, but then no more on the rest of the visit. Room is good size, quiet and clean. There is a coffee shop and Starbucks in the hotel as well as a restaurant DRAGO's.
