I loved this hotel. It was just a short walk to Downtown Disney and the bus system was great for traveling to the parks. There was even a large Mears bus that picked us up during the busy time. That was great foresight on the hotel's planning. The price was a great value and the staff was very hospitable. I plan on staying here again in the near future! Thank you! Oh, and the terrace with a view of the Disney fireworks was a great unexpected surprise! Thank you!Comment of L. Randall , United States the 2014-10-11
Perfect place to stay if visiting Downtown Disney. Walk across the street and you are there! Free transportation to all Disney Parks. If you fly in or drive in for the Disney Vacation, no car is needed. I will stay here again!Comment of O. Paula , United States the 2014-10-03
Unfriendly staff no one greets you anywhere in the hotel Not treated as a Diamond Hitlon Honors guest Terrible parking facilities Found last guest's hand lotion two days into our stay under side of bed Extremely loud lobby with bar right there so you can't hear what the hotel staff tells you
"Musty Room Nice Pool"
This hotel is undergoing renovations. While the bed was comfie, the water pressure was so high it was spashing water on the walls from the base of the sink. The hotel lobby is under renovations so its a bit nosy. The newly redone pool however is lovely. The room also smelled a bit. It should be nicer when its fully renovated. I wouldn't have stayed here if i knew it was under renovation. A bit nosy during the day.
"Fun in the sun & relaxation !"
I had a wonderful stay with family, the pool was amazing the staff was amazing the food was delicious. Although the food is a little pricey but this is what you expect when you stay at a resort we had a wonderful time and I can't wait to come back.
Was not aware of the construction as I booked directly on the Hilton website and there was no mention of it on their website. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to nothing but construction on the exterior. That said, the interior of the lobby and restaurant areas were very clean and sparkling new. The check in was slow but the lobby was bright and clean. The pool was the best feature of the hotel as it too was new with a small but fun lazy river attached to it. Although if the hotel was a max occupancy the pool might be over crowded- did not occur on our visit though. The poolside bar just recently opened and is very convenient for drinks and poolside food. The rooms in the tower bldg ( was in room 1536) seemed dated so apparently were not updated as of our visit (1-14-17) Bathrooms were small and seemed a bit dingy. Our main complaint was the jack hammering that started every morning around 8 am. In additional apparently some of the were also staying in the hotel and on our floor and they thought nothing of congregating in the hallway at 7AM to talk and have coffee while sitting on the floor outside our room. Had to call security twice. As I was traveling with a service animal, the staff could not have been nicer. The only problem was those pesty workman at 7 AM outside my room that disturbed my service dog causing him to bark, something he rarely does. He was just trying to protect me from the loud voices just outside All said the stay was fine. Had I known about the construction I would most likely have chosen another hotel. Once the construction is totally completed i will definitley stay here again. The future potential looks good.
"Will be nice when it is finished"
We couldn't get into a Disney property as the marathon was going that weekend. The hotel itself is going to be nice when they finish the construction going on all around it. It is very convenient to Disney Springs and the bus service to the parks is pretty good. On the bottom level of the hotel that also serves as the front door to the hotel, until the main entry is done, has a full restaurant and kinda fast food place. They had a good selection of items including pizzas that were made to order. We got a fireworks view but the room would simply not warm up. We called the front desk and they sent two workers up that dismissed it as this is Florida and the units are new and just take time to warm up. It never warmed up. Needed some help for work and the concierge on duty, Timothy, was a great help for me. Thanks Timothy. Took a stroll around and the pool area looks all new and inviting but it was simply too cold outside to use. The hotel is going to be very nice when it is done and I do not remember seeing a safe in the room but it did have good USB outlets in the lights and clock radio which are a good plus. Until it is finished, there is another Hilton across the street also in the Lake Buena Vista location and across from Disney Springs.
