"Very nice resort amenities"
Very nice "things to do" for a family. They have a 9-hole putt-putt course and a very nice pool and bar setup. The lazy river feature was very nice and fun for the children. The restaurant was expensive but the food was worth it. The wait staff were excellent. The outdoor pool bar/restaurant was very nice. It is well-designed for families with different needs. We did not make use of the exercise room, but it seemed very nice. The location was excellent and near to all of the amusement parks.
"Nice Hotel, Excellent Staff in a Convenient Location"
I just finished a 3 night stay at this property while attending a meeting. It was a very positive experience! Upon check-in my Diamond status was recognized and I was upgraded to a room on the executive floor. I received daily text messages from the customer service folks making sure that my stay was going well and checking to see if I needed anything. I am a bit of a stickler about "off" odors in hotel rooms including the use of strongly fragranced deodorizers/air fresheners and, especially in Florida, that musty odor I have come to know as "Florida Hotel Smell" which can even be present in expensive, high end properties. I am pleased to report that none of this existed in my room. It just smelled...clean! The room itself was modern and nicely decorated, with a good bed and a big, comfortable lounge chair and ottoman. The flat screen TV on the dresser was large with a good selection of channels. Pretty much all I ask for in a business class hotel. The location, right off of International Drive at I-4 is convenient for getting to and from the airport, is right next to the Convention Center and close to multiple attractions. The only slight disappointment was the Executive Lounge. The very accommodating staff was just a bit overwhelmed at peak breakfast and evening appetizer times during the busy few days I was there. Food was constantly running out and they were just having some trouble keeping up with the rush. At night, the desert selection only consisted of a single tray few types of cookies. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Orlando and would consider it for any future business I have in the area.
"Lazy day and relaxation"
Stayed for a mini break mainly to wind down from a very busy few weeks, we enjoyed all the amenities that were available there, gently drifted around the lazy river, bubbled in the very hot tub spa in the quiet section of the grounds then swam in the cooler pool, went to our lovely and very clean room, to which we had bathrobes and slippers delivered. Decided to splash out and enjoy a meal at Spencer's steak and chop house, please read my review on the trip advisor site.
This Hotel is very close to convention center and is within easy walk distance via covered walkways. The staff was excellent and made the arivial process very welcomed and personal. The doorman and staff worked hard to get you a cab or ride to your destination, always supplying helpful advise.
"Keep your eye on your folio"
Was overcharged by $50 and am going through hell to resolve it right now. They did not charge the group rate for valet parking and they slipped an Internet charge in that wasn't supposed to be there. The "finance manager" keeps leaving me messages and we are playing phone tag. Would be nice if someone there would answer the phone and fix this. Other than these problems the room was nice and it is a beautiful hotel.
