"700 Baht a Night and no DVD player in room"
The pool is nice but this is the most expensive hotel in Pattaya and there is ONE lousy movie channel on the TV and they want an extra 550 baht a night for a dvd player in the room. I asked for one and they said no. This is a 4/5 star hotel' I don't think so.
"Great location great service )-"
This hotel is probably one of the primary reasons why I would even think of coming to Pattaya, We had the buffet dinner at the Edge. Food is nice and also service is ok, Hotel has nice big sofa so can have a chat or waiting at Lobby
"Good place to stay"
Nice, clean, and very friendly staffs. Location is good!! Everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is very good. The Flare restaurant is very pricey. Overall, it is a good place to stay if you want to live close to the city center.
"Another Great Stay"
The Hilton Pattaya is in a class of its own. A superb property, striking design, simply purrs with style. The staff - every single one - wants to make your stay very special and I could not fault them. From Golf and his reservation / reception Team, to Bee and her amazing Exec Lounge Team, to Nok and Mike at the Pool Bar, the amazing talented staff in FLARE Restaurant down to the cheerful and thoughtful house keeping staff. Beautiful spa and even better pool. If I had to find a fault it would be the small fitness room and that the Sauna is within the spa complex and has to be booked at extra cost. I was one of the first guests in this hotel when it was completed......and I totally love it. Top Tip - Exec Lounge access is a must. Amazing breakfast, afternoon tea and a cocktail / dining happy hour - 5.30 to 7.30. Well done Hilton Staff - you have excelled again. See you in January
"Still Almost Perfect"
Since my first stay at the Hilton Pattaya in 2012, I've lost track of how many times I've returned. So I'm happy to report that the Hilton is still almost perfect. Check-in was quick, although my HHonors status was only summarily acknowledged at the end of the process, when I was informed that "Since you're Gold, you get lounge access." There was no welcome drink offered, although when I was checking out, I noticed that guests checking in were presented with drinks. No big deal, but frequent travelers do notice these things. And after a long drive, a cool drink is always welcome! No room upgrade was offered, and no explanation as to why not. It's always nice to be told "Sorry, we're unable to upgrade you." And very oddly for Thailand, there were no bellmen to take our luggage to our room. Oh, we travel light and we're certainly able to bring our small bags upstairs, but considering that even budget hotels in Thailand have bellmen on the ready, it did seem a bit odd. And it was the same at checkout; no bellmen were there to take our luggage to our car. The Executive Lounge was great as always, and the service there was truly exceptional. And the room, never mind not getting upgraded, was in tip top shape; nice to see how the Hilton is able to maintain these rooms when occupancy rates must surely be high. So there you have it: Still almost perfect, but not quite. Although in spite of the above quibbles, this might still be Pattaya's best hotel.
