"Good - but some serious service glitches"
First up, I need to say that our four-day stay at the Hilton Rosemont was very good and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The hotel was good quality, the rooms were of a high standard, breakfast was decent and didn't close too early and the staff were generally helpful. We were here with a wedding group - many people travelling from overseas - and our overall view of the hotel and facilities was positive. However, a small number of service let-downs happened, which I point out here for the hotel's own benefit: (a) Airport pick-up - did not arrive at Terminal 5, even though all the signs and the staff at O'Hare told us it would. Turns out you have to call the hotel to arrange a pick-up there. How were we supposed to know that' Didn't say so on the booking confirmation or the hotel website. Three separate groups from our party had the identical experience of waiting in the cold for a pick-up that never arrived, and eventually had to take a taxi; (b) Room not made up. This happened to several of our party, all staying on the same floor. Left the hotel for the wedding at 2pm approx, returned that night - rooms not made up. Unacceptable; (c) Early bar closure - though we had requested that the bar stay open for our wedding group, we returned at 11.30 pm to find it closed - though all the bar staff were still there. This was very disappointing. Otherwise, the hotel was fine, and reasonable value
"Hilton- a home sweet hotel"
If you want a place to stay that has friendly and professional employees, who take care of you, a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, with comfortable and attractive rooms, and interesting cuisine in its restaurant and other facilities, choose the Hilton Rosemont, Chicago.
my 4 day stay was mediocre at best. My room was freezing cold and I was eventually upgraded to a better room. however, as a foodie, I was quite disappointed. the in room service food had me yearning for fast food double the costs
"Hilton comes through again"
I have of yet to be disappointed by a stay in any Hilton branded hotel. The Staff at the Rosemont/Ohare Hilton, are kind and considerate, very professional. Any and all questions were met with knowledgeable answers, I am sure if there were any issues they would have been addressed just as professionally.
"Great location for Stephens Convention Ctr"
I was a big help to have the Hilton connected with a skywalk to the convention center, especially since the weather was so cold. Rooms were comfortable. Only negative is having to pay to park. It should be free.
