"Just because the airport"
The hote offers a shuttle from airport that needs 20 minutes driving. Find the shuttle stop could stress you. The hotel has very basic rooms, good beds and mediocre bathrooms. Service is not a good point, front desk very rude. The only good point is it is near to airport of O'Hare and for flight transfer is good
"Park & Stay"
We booked here because of an early flight out of O'Hare and to park our car at for a week of travel. We checked in late, checked out early and was in the hotel for a short amount of time. Check in was easy and our room was clean and ready for us. The shuttle to and from the airport was very efficient.
The room was good and the beds were very comfortable, just what we expect from Hilton. We didn't take advantage of any of the hotel amenities except the pool. It was clean, lots of tables and chairs very attractive and a fantastic view of the plains landing at O'Hare. Most of the time we were the only one there.
"I guess you get what you pay for"
The location of this place is great. Close to the airport; Walking distance from the blue line subway; walking distance from one of the best pizzerias in the area Giordano. However, the hotel it self is not so great. Let's start off with the front desk/reception area. When we checked in, we weren't even greeted. The girl who "helped" us looked like Fergie from the black eye peas, and had the attitude to come with. She was not courteous at all. We were going to use two card to pay, but she was such in a hurry that she didn't wait for me to hand her my second card when she had charged the entire room to the one card. This cause my account to over draw and therefore left me with little money to use. Then when I told her I was going to use two cards, she said it wouldn't have matter that she charged extra because she would have charged the security deposit on both cards and I would be left with less. But if I wanted the money back, I had to call my bank, have it get released and still wait the weekend because banks don't usually do refunds on weekends. I was NOT happy with her attitude but was too tired to argue, so I left it at that. Once we got to our room we noticed the beds had reading lamps on it. They didn't work. Then I went to use the restroom. Toilet didn't work. We spent the entire night with a broken toilet till the next day that they fixed it. In all I gave this hotel a three rating because it was affordable, clean, and the location was great. Would I stay here again' NOPE!!! I Rather pay the extra money and stay in the city.
"Great Hotel and meeting space"
I was able to check in around noon. The room was clean and all of the meeting spaces were clean and very suitable. One of the elevators was being renovated while I was there, but that didn't seem to impact me at all. Overall, the courtesy of the front desk folks, the cleanliness of the room, and the meeting spaces make this a wonderful choice for a business meeting.
