"Best trip ever!!!!"
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing and magical this resort is. We rented the villa with the private infinity pool and did not regret it one bit. Cannot wait to come back and spend more time in the Seychelles and in the Hilton resort. We are not resort people but this place was everything you could want and more.
There were some pros and some cons. The pros were were our room which was beautiful since we had an ocean view pool villa, the breakfast buffet was really good, the staff was friendly and the view was beautiful.. the cons were there is no beach so if you are a big beach person, you will not be happy, and the hotel seems to be very understaffed. They do not serve you food or drinks at the pool and the pool is also very small with very few places to sit. If you do not have a pool villa , you may have a hard time finding a spot to lay out by the pool. The food was just fair overall and there are very few dining options.
"Appauling service, tiny beach, tiny pool and limited food options"
The one good thing was that the rooms were lovely and were 5*, however, nothing else about our stay at the Hilton was 5*. The beach area was tiny, and you could never get a bed and they were always out of towels, with no one to replenish them. The pool was equally small. The marine life however was incredible and we did enjoy the snorkelling. The most disappointing thing about our stay was the staff. The majority of them just did not care. Most of the time they did not even greet you, let alone remember your name or room number. Even though we were there for 8 days, there are not many villas and were on our Honeymoon. One morning I waited 40 minutes for a cup of tea! They said they had "ran out of hot water"! What 5* resort runs out of hot water at breakfast'! There were cockroaches in the Bar every evening. One night one even ran onto our table whilst we were eating! The Hotel offered us a beach side meal on the house for all the mistakes they made which was lovely, but even that they mucked up and double booked and we had to wait an hour for it. The Manager said someone had 'stolen' our table, when I actually spoke to the other couple they said they had booked too for a 30th Birthday. So the Manager had basically just lied to cover herself. When we complained she smirked. We were extremely disappointed with our stay to say the least, and what is most unfortunate was that it was for our honeymoon. I would never stay here again and not recommend to anyone. We stayed at the Beachcombers resort on St Anne the previous week and they were incredible and could not do enough for us! We wished we had stayed there for our full holiday in the Seychelles.
I spent two weeks in this hotel. They said it was a high season so they did not upgrade me whcih was the first time that happened to me as a diamond hhonors member. i loved the location and the rooms as well as the food. The attention to detail and particular to guest needs seems to be a bit lacking. The gym equipment is also not working. however its a lovely breathtaking resort hope they improve on my next trip in terms of service
"Great hotel, but no beach and short staff"
hotel is amazing! the rooms are probable the best on the island, better than 4 seasons or banyan three, just be aware that there is no beach, and that there is low staff. the most popular beach on the island is very close by. but you would need to take a cap. dont walk, there are not sidewalks
