"Could be better"
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights earlier this week. The hotel is about 6 blocks from Union Station and all the area sporting events. The front desk staff was pleasant if a little slow. The walls in the hallways need repainting and the carpets are very worn and need replacement. Dinner trays were left out in the hallway from breakfast until late at night. The valet parking was very good. This hotel is convenient to many local attractions but needs a good renovation.
"Amazing 60th birthday"
We had 12 of us in the group. My friend was celebrating her 60th birthday. She had an amazing suite and we were on the executive floor. The staff were incredible and very attentive. Location is close to shopping and great restaurants. Beautiful room's with very comfortable beds. The pillows were amazing. The breakfast in the executive lounge was delicious and a great spot for our group to meet before leaving our separate ways. I would definitely stay at this location again
"Good Hotel, Don't get the room next to the elevator!"
Overall, great staff and facilities. Good central location. Clean and professional. Front desk staff was really helpful. I wish I remembered the name of the front desk staff who helped me every time. Only issue was that I got the room next to the elevator (02 rooms) and the sound made it tough to sleep. So, if you're sensitive to noise make sure you avoid this room! I did ask for a move but they said there were no other rooms.
"Very Nice Hotel"
Had a date night here recently with the hubby and would not hesitate to stay again. Room was very very clean and king size bed was extremely comfortable. Our room was quiet( we were on the 18th floor). The lobby was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The location was fabulous - a 10 minute walk from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre where I was attending a conference, and less than 20 minutes to Union Station. We had a great meal at The Elephant and Castle and took note of the many great looking restaurants nearby for our next stay!
"Hilton works hard to ensure satisfaction"
Hilton wants its guests to be happy with their stays & works hard to ensure this. From sending text messages & asking for guest feedback, they also try to right any problems. Although I was assigned to a beautiful room, it was too close to the elevator & would have prevented me from sleeping. After a call to guest services, the problem was promptly rectified with a swift & efficient relocation - more impressive given that it was a very busy weekend. I did find some hairs in corners of the bathroom that housekeeping had failed to notice, but when I mentioned it to staff at the checkout survey, they promised to make my next stay better.
