Great location, best value breakfast, just couldn't organise the sunshine...Comment of S. Michael , Australia the 2014-08-05
"A poorly maintained riverside hotel in the suburbs"
Stayed in an executive room facing the danube. While the hotel provides value through the spacious rooms and riverside view, we had 2 bad experiences during our stay here: 1. The toilet in the room reeks of urine/ ammonia. We tried washing the toilet area but the smell persisted. 2. On our way to the executive lounge (lvl 8), our escalator got stuck halfway. Which would reflect its age or poor maintenance frequency. In general: Plus: Riverside view Peaceful location Big spacious rooms with 2 queen beds Service was decent with 1 or 2 really friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Old building - elevator, rooms Seems badly maintained/ housekeeping Pretty far from everything - in a residential neighbourhood, 10mins walk to the nearest U-bahn station
It's freezing outside, but once you enter the foyer of the Hilton there is a warm blanket of hospitality making you feel welcome ! Beautiful Christmas decorations flank the whole hotel! Loved the handwritten messages all around the hotel!
"Large comfy rooms"
Lovely large rooms with large comfy beds. Was a great location as the train station was a 5 min walk away. Loved the downstairs restaurant and the breakfasts were fantastic, with so much to choose from. This is one classy hotel.
"wonderful hotel, woth every cent. Easy to reach ,convinience parking and very good rooms."
We had a very nice 4 dasys stay (a family of eight persons) . Rooms were spacious clean and very pleasant . The outdoor Kafe along side the rוver was beautiful and seved very good meals. The parking was very convinence and enabled us to go out and come whenever we liked without any parking problem.
"A Nice Riverside Base for your Vienna Visit"
This hotel is tight by the Danube. It's best to ask for a river view room otherwise you will face a big apartment block across the street. It is very conveniently located close to Stadion station on the U2 line with very frequent trains to the city. The rooms are very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. I had access to a room with Executive Lounge access where you could get espresso coffee all day, breakfast and evening canapés and drinks. The evening service was very generous. I preferred to enjoy my breakfast in the main restaurant on the ground floor where there was a wider selection. In summer one could have their breakfast on the deck watching all the cruise boats go by.
