"Great place to stay"
We were in Xian for only one night - the hotel arranged a car to take us to see the Terracotta Warriors last night for the next morning. The driver found us a personal guide and it all worked out well. The hotel itself was great, comfortable beds, lovely sheets, clean and everything you need in a hotel. We would have stayed longer if our plans had allowed it. I was very happy with my choice.
"Excellent Service at Hilton"
Stayed in Hilton, Xian for three nights, very good location and excellent customer service. The room was very good and so also the restaurant. When they came to know we were not happy with the room service food on the night we arrived on a snowy day, their executive chef Jimmy Gao went all out to prepare special food during our rest of the stay.
The perfection started the moment I walked in I joined the Hilton honours program just a few days before I stayed , I then checked in online with the App the day I was arriving , chose my room ! so when I arrived and gave my name they instantly helped me to My room with bags and did what was left of the check in which was just basically swiping the credit card in the room , made me feel welcome , made sure the wifi worked then left me with key and left me alone to unpack etc , Mickey (spoke great English ) who took me to my room said I could call him for anything , he then greeted by name when I saw him again. Brilliant , no waiting in lines , no filling in forms . They did scan my passport later . The breakfast is worth it , the selection and variety is great . I did hear some people from another continent complain about the coffee ! Your in china drink the amazing tea , I wonder what Chinese people think about American tea! The house bar located in the tea room is excellent , great bar staff , spoke great English , one called Kenny Liu was extremely professional and helpful even taught me some Chinese and though new to the iNdustry would put many other hotel staff around the world to shame. I only had half a day spare due to work commitments to sightsee so had to miss the warriors but from the hotel in it's an easy walk to the wall where you can get up on it and walk on the top of it , go to the bell Tower , drum tower and muslim street all iconic so you don't have to miss out . If you coming to Xian for business or pleasure I would recommend it .
"Wonderful customer service"
My husband & I stayed for 2 nights in September 2016, and the stay was perfect. We were upgraded to the executive level with lounge access. The staff in the lounge went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, helping us with directions and answering all of our questions. The breakfast buffet was amazing- everything you could want and more. The room was lovely- very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spectacular- I particularly liked the very professional hair dryer, made my hair look totally awesome and was super quick. The location is also very convenient- the Muslim quarter is only about a mile away. It was super easy to get to everything. Overall, this was one of the best Hiltons we have ever stayed in.
We never stay at chain hotels like the Hilton (except occasionally at airports), preferring small boutique hotels and B & Bs. However I couldn't find anything I liked the look of in Xian, so we booked in here for 3 nights. We were very pleasantly surprised, and found this way better that the normal chain hotel. The staff were really attentive and helpful all the time, and for some reason we were upgraded to the Executive Floor and the Executive lounge. The lounge was great and did nice snacks and light meals, and was a pleasant place for a pre-dinner drink. We tried the buffet dinner in the ground floor restaurant and thought it was brilliant - they even did us a special vegetarian option. We ate mainly Chinese food there. Normally we get very stuck for veggie food in hotel buffets, but this was exceptional and had free flowing wine too. Breakfast was really good for me because I love fresh fruit and there was an abundance. It is in a great location - we easily walked to the Muslim Quarter which we thought was fantastic, and in fact we walked round Xian all that day. The front desk arranged a driver for us to go to the Terracotta Warriors which was perfect for us as we wanted to be left alone when we got there and have as long as wanted to look at them. Wow. We then asked him to stop at the Wild Goose Pagoda on the way back. He had no English, but we managed fine with the translator on the phone. Loved this hotel and staff.
