"Comfortable hotel within the city walls"
Stayed on the 10th floor, the room was comfortable with aircon and a reasonable size wet room. No fridge and although each room has its own WiFi it doesn't seem to be re-found each time you want to connect. Hotel has a buffet breakfast but we didn't have it. Plenty of restaurants near by. The Muslim Quarter with market and loads of street found is a couple of blocks away. This has the mosque at one end, you can't enter the prayer hall, but the grounds are pleasant, entry 25 yuan. Easy walk to the drum and bell towers too.
"Location good. "
Yes, the location is good, the rooms are spacious and there's a decent rooftop bar next door but really that's all this hotel has going for it. Sheets were stained, bathroom was grubby with hairs everywhere. Was glad to only be staying one night as part of a G tour.
"Tired 3 star"
Another G tour traveller. Location is its best feature - close to public transit, subway is half a block, street car is across the road. Close to numerous shops, eating facilities and food marts. Beds, as with most hotels in China are hard. There is a buffet breakfast available, mostly local fare but some American style. You won't go hungry. Room and linens were clean. Shower/tub wouldn't drain initially but did with some fiddling. No big deal but wallpaper was pealing everywhere. Whole hotel needs work.
"Unclean and mouldy"
Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. The bathmats were covered in mould, the floor stained, the bin had not been emptied from the previous occupants, the windows did not close properly and it was filthy. No divider between the shower and the loo so the bathroom flooded. TRULY AWFUL. Had we not been part of a tour we would have left. It may only have been for one night but even an hour was too long. And there is nothing useful close by.
"Central and clean "
We stayed at this hotel as part of our tour of xian. It was close to shops and gardens with transport options nearby train bus and taxies ect. The hotel was quite new clean and modern. We had a view of the alleyways were the locals shop and was great to walk around and take up the local life in the streets of China. Very safe and clean but beds are hard. Wi fi was free. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.
