Excellent value for money - rooms clean and modern, not luxurious but very comfortable.Comment of M. Gillian , United Kingdom the 2014-05-12
Excellent value for the London area even if it is a bit far out. This is a new and very good Holiday Inn Express hotel. The hotel is fairly new, and is therefore in very good condition. Ambiance, decor and furnishing in the rooms and public areas are pleasant and modern. Rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished with large double beds (: good linen, soft and hard pillows :), seating area, a nice spacious work desk, LCD TV, good lighting, coffee making facilities and nice carpeting. The bathrooms are very nice. My absolute favorite is the shower which looks good with the black tiles and white grooves and has amongst the best water flow/pressure and temperature stability / control. Great stuff! Elevators are spacious and in good shape. The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast for all guests and this also more than adequate with beans, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, yoghurt, pain-au-chocolat, croissants, a selection of cereals, bread-butter-jam, coffee, milk etc. Good enough for me! The staff are very pleasant and helpful + house keeping is reliable and efficient. The hotel also has a drinks & coffee bar, a kitchen which serves lunch and dinner up to 2230 HRS, and an separate onsite Italian restaurant called Tratts. I haven't tried the kitchen or Tratts so far but I see a lot of guests do and seem to be enjoying it. This is a very good hotel and excellent value for money in the London area. Highly Recommended.Comment of P. Harsha , Switzerland the 2014-05-10

"Functional - with terrible wifi"
Cheap, easy to get to, reasonable parking charge at £10. Beds are very soft, low to the floor and only standard double in size (not even 5ft beds). The pillows probably had some filling in them in 2010 when they put them on the beds, now they just resemble flat pancakes with no support whatsoever. The free wifi on offer seems to be the slowest speed they can get away with which means it's really useless for most things except collecting email. Stayed here twice recently and ok neither occasion was I asked if I enjoyed my stay during the check out process.
"Business stop over"
Great hotel, easy to find being approx 10 mins from Heathrow Airport. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff on check in and clean modern bedrooms. The bed was comfy, the room was spacious with a powerful shower. I'm not giving 5 stars in my review as breakfast let it down. The hotel was obviously busy and I appreciate that breakfast is busier at certain times of the morning but the food couldn't be replenished quick enough and there were no clean tables. It looked like staff were struggling to keep up with demand and clearing tables. I ate at a dirty table while people wondered about trying to find a place to sit. This was a busy period at 7:30am. This is my only negative point and could have been a one off experience. On the whole I would return as it's one of the nicest Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed in.
"Nice, well presented hotel."
All was good, excellent shower, clean, well kept. Lots of free parking. Bus service to underground. Few amenities around this location though. The neighbourhood had lots of homes, there was a gas station and M &S foods.
Rooms are very nice and the front desk service is very helpful. The restaurants are a bit pricey, and when I went there, most of the staff at the restaurant were trainees. There is a Marks&Spencers store and gas station across the road in case one wishes to simply buy food from outside.
"Perfect Transitional Overnight Stop"
Easy to find with parking located at the rear - don't miss the fact there is a charge! This busy, hotel feels very continental as it buzzes with world travellers. The restaurant was efficiently run; proven by keeping up with demand for food and crockery at breakfast. For a 'free' breakfast it was good value. Everything is self-service, so no waiting around. The Pizza and Pasta restaurant, had the thumbs up from some other guests - we didn't eat an evening meal in the hotel. Spotless room and bathroom, appears to have been redecorated recently. We asked for a quiet room, which they tried to provide by placing at the end of a corridor. However, the room was not very soundproof and our neighbours had a lot to say until the early hours of the morning! Not the hotels fault, but might be worth taking ear plugs.
