Excellent value for money - rooms clean and modern, not luxurious but very comfortable.Comment of M. Gillian , United Kingdom the 2014-05-12
Excellent value for the London area even if it is a bit far out. This is a new and very good Holiday Inn Express hotel. The hotel is fairly new, and is therefore in very good condition. Ambiance, decor and furnishing in the rooms and public areas are pleasant and modern. Rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished with large double beds (: good linen, soft and hard pillows :), seating area, a nice spacious work desk, LCD TV, good lighting, coffee making facilities and nice carpeting. The bathrooms are very nice. My absolute favorite is the shower which looks good with the black tiles and white grooves and has amongst the best water flow/pressure and temperature stability / control. Great stuff! Elevators are spacious and in good shape. The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast for all guests and this also more than adequate with beans, scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, yoghurt, pain-au-chocolat, croissants, a selection of cereals, bread-butter-jam, coffee, milk etc. Good enough for me! The staff are very pleasant and helpful + house keeping is reliable and efficient. The hotel also has a drinks & coffee bar, a kitchen which serves lunch and dinner up to 2230 HRS, and an separate onsite Italian restaurant called Tratts. I haven't tried the kitchen or Tratts so far but I see a lot of guests do and seem to be enjoying it. This is a very good hotel and excellent value for money in the London area. Highly Recommended.Comment of P. Harsha , Switzerland the 2014-05-10

"Good basic hotel within 15 minutes from Heathrow T5"
Whilst on business and needing to catch an early flight from Heathrow Terminal 5, I booked a night in this hotel. I made a mistake to get the hotel address from another Holiday Inn Express nearby in Slough. This hotel is off the M4 slip Road at Junction 5 then heading to Hounslow off the roundabout and just opposite a BP station. I was welcomed by a friendly Receptionist with clear advice about the hotel, my room and the breakfast. Additionally, I asked about the Hotel Hoppa bus that can take you direct to Terminal 5. This takes 15 minutes at the time that I needed it (04:46 Hrs). The room was clean and styled in the usual Holiday Inn Express furnishings. I had a problem logging onto the free internet and gave up as it was late at night and I needed to leave early in the morning. I did not have an opportunity to take breakfast but I assume that it would be the normal Holiday Inn Express breakfast with eggs, sausage and beans as well as cereals and pastries. Rooms are basic but clean & it is convenient to travel to Heathrow Terminal 5
Staff are friendly. Breakfast in the morning is average, hot breakfast was just eggs, sausage and beans. Rooms are basic but clean. Wifi was none existent. It's ok for somewhere to just sleep after a flight but no more than that.
had to pay ten pounds parking bit off a rip off we asked for a wake up call at 5am they called at 5,35 am could have missed the flight because of the traffic the good side is the room was spotless and the breakfast was good
"Good for an overnight stay and parking for 10 days"
Reception staff very efficient and helpful We had two rooms both very clean and comfortable beds. Efficient double glazing and sound proofing so although the hotel was busy it was quiet. Had a meal in the Italian restaurant which was fine. Bus for Terminal 5 stops right outside the hotel door and on both journeys the bus was almost empty. Felt very happy leaving the car on site Only disappointment was with the breakfast....poor quality sausage and scrambled eggs NO other hot choices Would have preferred to have option to pay more for a proper English breakfast .
Typical Holiday Inn Express. You generally know what to expect. The room was nice and the restaurant on the first floor fine. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this to anyone. Parking was fine as well.
