Perfect hotel for a family vacation to visit Montreal!Comment of S. Gustavo , United States the 2016-08-29
"Excellent family hotel"
My family of two adults, 9 and 12 years old stayed 5 nights there. The hotel is in the center of China town which is convenient for us to look around and shop. The staffs at the front were very kind and helpful. The swimming pool was pretty small as other visitors pointed out. The hot tub looks dirty but I am not sure it's water itself or something else. We did not use the hot tub. The hotel has a coin wash although there are one washer and one dryer. Most of the attractions are in walking distance.
"Great hotel & staff"
Clean, reasonably priced, good pool with nice courtyard, decent location. Pierre at the reception desk is incredibly courteous and exceptionally helpful. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and a great price since kids eat free. Would definitely stay here again in the future.
"Good hotel "
Well located . Good restaurants and shopping mall all around walking distance . The service was ok , nothing special . The staff will not go out of their way to please you . Very automatic not personal . Not impressed but good enough for a short trip .
The room was really clean and spacious, with a nice sized bathroom. Only a 2 minute walk to old Montreal, and just across the street is the subway. The pool is small but a great hot tub and sauna. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You can't beat the price, I'm definitely coming again!
"Good location, very pleasant stay"
We arrived early and wanted to just see if we could park our vehicle and walk around. Pierre greeted us at the main desk and offered to check us in if they had rooms available and waive the early check in fee. He immediately found us a room then tried to find a better room with a view. Pierre was very friendly and gave us tips on how to get to the hockey game and get in without waiting in big lineups. It took us a while to check in but he was so nice and friendly to talk to, that it was definitely the best check in experience I've EVER had at any hotel. Our stay was only for a night so we didn't spend much time in the hotel. Our room was on the 6th floor facing the garden and it wasn't much of a view which didn't bother us. The beds were really comfortable and my wife liked that the pillows were labelled as firm and soft(or something like that). We slept great but one thing that we both found odd was that the keurig machine is located in the washroom, so we didn't make ourselves a coffee. What's up with that' Regardless, there were a few Starbucks locations nearby, one being a block away. Another great thing is that the metro subway system is located right across the street. I would stay at this hotel again and if management is reading this, Pierre deserves a customer service award.
