"modern hotel but not a tourist location "
we have just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel and our experience was very mixed. I picked this hotel as it was stated as only a 10 minute walk from the station, when infact it is more of a 20minute walk. We walked this several times over our stay and we were not exactly walking slow and never got it under 20 minutes. There is a free shuttle bus but this can also take up to 20minutes on the traffic. Location is in a financial district and very isolated at the weekend. There are no shops and few cafes which shut early. We also had an issue with noise. The room next door were students who were very loud, running up and down the corridor and had music on loudly. After one night of putting up with this we rang reception on the 2nd to complain. we were immediately offered a room change however turned it down in favour for the staff visiting the room to stop the noise due to it being late at night. After 20minutes and a further call to the front desk we opted for the move which was swift however we were very disappointed in the lack of action from the staff to stop the students. Hotel is modern and clean and the restaurant good is good but quite expensive. If your looking for a touristy Naples hotel this is not ideal. We booked through Easy jet.
"Perfect for business in Centro Direzionale"
A holiday Inn and nothing different from all the others really. Except the reception staff was very friendly and efficient. I was shocked when I was asked if I wanted a smoking room as I thought that was a thing of the past. They have 3 floors for smokers so something to consider if you smoke. If you are doing business in Centro Direzionale it si perfect as you are right in th middle of it. The room was fairly small but I had booked a single so can't complain too much. The wifi was free and fast which is a blessing if you are working.Everything else was functional except the room thermostat. I have no idea why but on the first night the room was unbearably hot and no matter what I did with the thermostat, it made no difference. The window was locked so couldn't open it for air as I was 5 floors up and would have no doubt thrown myself out. On the whole, it is a good hotel with a nice restaurant and bar. It is also very close to the airport. Tip: Beware Naples airport taxi drivers. Make sure they use the meter and that you can see it operate. They always try and charge me 3 times the normal fare.
"Another great stay...."
We have stayed at this hotel many times and love it. Spacious rooms, lovely breakfast, 24 hour manned car park. It is near the centre and a good to base to tour Naples and the surrounding areas We were surprised with a lovely bottle of wine and a fruit platter in our room on our anniversary. Lovely touch The staff are great and always go the extra mile. Thanks to Angelo and his colleagues for always making our stay a pleasant one. M&S Halil
"Spacious room, great service"
We stayed at the Holiday Inn after a long, tiring day of touring Naples and Pompeii. We were pleasantly surprised by the cookies and wine left for us when we returned. The room was very spacious (a last minute upgrade - also unexpected) and very comfortable. Wifi was good - we were able to FaceTime with our kids easily from the room. The bathroom was not as big as expected for that size room, but it wasn't tiny. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant at all during our stay. Despite seeing various signs in Italian, it felt like we were in the U.S. with all of the familiar Holiday Inn logos.
"Peace of mind in Napoli"
We've been visiting south of Italy with two small kids, so typically you prefer peace of mind instead of a bustling nightlife.Plus was lookign for a safe parking for my car. This hotel provided all, had an excellent room (suite) with a view to Vesuv, had parking facilities, good italian hospitality, so I can only recommend for anyone visiting Napoli on business or with kids. Of course if you are a young party freak you might want go somewhere else, also if you do not have your car, this hotel is not in walking distance to anything in Napoli. But again for our needs it was just perfect, and would definitely go back if we are visiting again.
