"Not ideal for looking around the city"
The hotel is fine but not the ideal location for looking around the city. The hotel is functional a good breakfast not in the best area of town and quite a walk from the station and the metro. Rooms fine and well appointed.
"rooms in need of update - public areas good"
our room was def in need of update ! ate here on our first night as we arrived v late. it was a v poor meal, avoid. the breakfast was better a buffer - service was poor with waitress having a lot of attitude ! seemed to forget that guests pay the wages !! location is reasonable but not great - don't walk around late at night - & its not really close to metro . Naples is a great city these days and fairly safe - prob best to find another hotel if staying more than 1 night
"Comfortable Hotel for a short stay"
The hotel is situated about midway to the city centre from the airport. On arrival we took a cab and the driver dropped us in front of the hotel in a busy but unimpressive street. However, once you enter the reception hall the impression changed and somewhat relieved! We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who completed the check in formalities quickly. The room allocated was clean and spacious. Good shower flow but the temperature kept dropping midway and returns itself to normal by itself. There was good choice for vegetarians for dinner and reasonable choice for breakfast.Staff were friendly, particularly Mimmo at the reception and the lady manager at the restaurant. Next morning Mimmo arranged a fixed rate taxi to take us to our car hire location. Through the restaurant you can walk into a huge built up area comprising of many offices, banks and shops. Certainly a comfortable to stay away from the city centre.
"Flight Delay Respite"
Due to Lufthansa pilot strike our family was left stranded in Naples, Italy. We were put up for the night at this location. It is a lovely hotel, the staff were supportive and service was excellent. A nice restaurant and bar and business area helped us relax, decompress and arrange train tickets for flight connections in Rome. As we mainly just rested and relaxed we did not do much walking around the area so cannot comment on nearby tourist spots. Sat in common outside area where markets and shops were located. Located an ATM relatively close by. Room was great, beds were soft, staff was great. Made a bad situation better.
"Not too bad"
Stayed here for three nights. The hotel is updated inside except for the room we stayed in. We have two double beds - which my wife and I have to share as the other bed is occupied by our son. The bathroom is outdated with green tile flooring. We stayed in room 2108. They provided the shuttle bus to the train station which was handy when we went to Pompeii scavi. The breakfast is buffet for €15 per person - my wife said it's average.
