"Location is Unbeatable for Shopping; Practical for Family with small children; Clean and No-Frills;"
initially i wanted to book with 5star hotel to end our two-week Japan trip when we visited Osaka, but seeing the reviews and unbeatable price on Holiday Inn, i decided to give it a go. We did not expect much from a Holiday Inn but this one definitely impressed us with its location, walking distance with Shinsaibashi Shopping street and surrounded by famous eateries that you come to Osaka for. we had with us two small children and i only booked with a standard room, but were greeted with 2 double beds which made it possible for all of us to sleep in. with the great location, we were able to go shopping for the day and come back to rest, before we wander off again to more shopping. We also visited Universal Studios during the trip and it was a quick ride through the Subway station located near the hotel. Don't expect much from concierge or front desk as they are too busy with guests. Overall it is a no-frills hotel, clean, with unbeatable location that is great for families! we would definitely stay here again for practicality. There is a 7-11 store at the lobby of the hotel....how's that for convenience'
"Strategic location for culinary"
If you want to eat lots of japanese food, i would say it is a right choice to have a book in this hotel. Kuromon market and Dotonburi are nearby. Downstairs at the lobby, they have direct access to the 11/7. The location are in the middle of 2 subway, about 10 minutes walking from each. For culinary day, my recommendation are Kuromon market at the morning around 9.30 a.m. for breakfast. Then you go strolling around Osaka and for dinner at Dotonburi (lots of cafe/bar/resto) Pro cons about the hotel Pro: strategic location, nice hospitality, clean hotel, hairdryer and shaver available, not noisy Con: the bathroom and bedroom separator is window/glass (but they provide you with a white curtain to close it. Even though i'm not sure if it is only my room nor not). But hey, it is not a big deal anyway
"Very Convenient and clean"
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights from 05th to 09th April 2017. We came from Hakata via Shinkansen, arriving at Shin-Osaka Station. We took the Midosuji subway to Namba station. There were signs to guide you to the subway, very easy. Upon arriving at Namba station, we took the exit 15 and walk towards the hotel. ( there maps indicating which exits to take to your destination ) The walk will takes about 10mins to the hotel but no worries, its a long underground walk with many, many shops and restaurants. Pushing your luggage here will not be a problem! The hotel is just right next to Dotonbori! Full of people, day or night and never worries about what to eat! Shopping too. Holiday Inn Namba is very convenient as it's just next to almost everything. Room is of good size. Comes with free wifi. Air condition working very well. As usual, did not try the breakfast, as such can't comment on the food there. We are very happy to have chosen Holiday Inn Namba for our stayed in Osaka and would recommend this hotel.
"A comfortable place to stay in Osaka"
Firstly the rooms were of a very good size for Japan, clean well furnished and the beds were comfortable and excellent bathroom accessories. Wifi is very good. The restaurant attached is not part of the hotel (no billing to your room) and while the food is good it can be booked by outside groups and not available to hotel guests. While the location is in the heart of Osaka Namba, its a little questionable. It seemed safe but there were a few unusual establishments nearby. The staff were exceptional. This may have been because I am a IHG gold card member, however an early check-in at 10.30 and a late checkout at 14.00 was greatly appreciated. Pete & Claire from Australia
"Great option to stay in Osaka"
I stayed with family here and we all thought the place was really good. It is more spacious than other Japanese hotels, which for us was a huge improvement. The room and bathrooms perfectly comfortable. The location is great, just a block from the Main Street in Osaka. The breakfast buffet is a little better than other hotels, but in general it has the same types of food.
