"Amazing find and a perfect stay"
I found this hotel purely by chance when I was checking hotels for Spain on the Starwood site (they seem to be a new addition to this chain). And am I glad I booked it for our stay in Seville. I can only confirm all the great reviews that have been published here. Everything is just perfect - the excellent staff, the great location, the big and warm rooms (it was pretty chilly when we were there), the great recommendations that the hotel had for us. All this with the warm intimacy of a homestay and with the luxuries of a hotel. What could one ask for more' What I particularly liked was the library where we had a small cosy intimate dinner one evening. One literally had the feeling that one was in the living room of a good friend.

"Oasis in Seville"
A lovely hotel in excellent location. All the staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. They went out of the way to meet our needs and ensure we enjoyed our stay. The room was very comfortable and spacious with good facilities. We ate at the restaurant which served excellent food; good ingredients with interesting flavours and combinations. All told a very enjoyable stay.
Hopes Las Casas del Rey is a place I would love to stay forever. The ambience is warm, cozy, friendly and very family. The decor of common areas are very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast food was modest but not lacking in variety. The location is great for walking around the old town.
"A Fabulous Experience"
We stayed here recently for four nights. We had a very good reception, and all the staff were very helpful, couldn't do enough for us, never left us waiting around, always there when we needed them, and left us alone when we didn't need them. They booked sightseeing tickets, gave us advice on buying tickets, on directions and recommended restaurants even though they have their own very good restaurant and chef. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect, a lovely design with local artefacts view. It can be noisy in the mornings and late at night but that is just the people of Seville getting to work, and working at keeping the streets clean, plus we sleep with the window open. We will definitely be going again. The only criticism we have is that the staff at breakfast should write down the order, as twice a mistake was made. Having said that, whatever was served up was delightful!
