From the Airport, take the motorway to Palma. Before reaching Palma, after approximately 4 km, divert to Via Cintura (M20) heading Andratx. After a tunnel and before reaching Palma, follow the motorway towards Andratx. Take the second exit Bendinat-Illetes. Drive through a second tunnel and take the last exit in the roundabout heading Palma. Drive straight for about 2 km, and after the traffic lights, on your right hand side you will see Hospes Maricel.

"In love with Maricel"
My Wife and I have visited Hospes Maricel this year for the 2nd time and we've absolutely loved it. We're due to go home tomorrow and apart from missing our children, we have no wish to leave whatsoever! The Hotel, the Staff (especially Adrian and his lady colleague at the Pool Bar) are exceptional and go to any length to make sure your stay is fantastic. The outlook and the ambience are beyond expectations and the way you are treated during your stay is 2nd to none. Thank you very much Maricel, we will see you again next year
We stopped here for lunch on a gorgeous sunny day! It is a beautiful hotel in the public areas and will definitely book to stay the next time we are in Palma. Service was a little slow but you are so distracted by the beautiful view and tranquility you barely notice.
"Impressive building, below-standard rooms"
The building and its location by the sea are impressive, so are the terrace and the pool area. The staff are very welcoming and the service quality more than lives up to the standards to be expected of a five-star property. The room on the other hand - we had an ocean-view room in the main building, was a bit of a disappointment. The misconcepted shower kept leaving the bathroom under water, hence having to soreas towels all over the bathroom became annoying. Also the room and bed were small. The noise level also was bothersome, es every step from the upstairs room could be heard, as much as every door being closed on the same floor. The contrast between the grandeur of the building and implied peace and quiet and the reality of the room stabdards and noise level is out of balance.
"Perfect resort for honeymooners, couldn't get any better"
I visited this property in feb 2017 for my honeymoon...was very skeptical about the property having read numerous negative reviews on trip advisor...but when we reached there, we were just left spellbound... First of all, the warmly welcome, extra ordinarily hospitable staff, made us feel at home away from home...we reached a few hours early before the check in time, and they made all efforts to get our room ready for us asap... In the meanwhile we enjoyed the spectacular sea view this hotel offered while sipping a cup of amazing coffee... NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART... We reserved a room in the nature's building which is the newly built building across the road with modern decor and zen pools... A lot of reviews advise to take a room in the main building while giving a negative feedback to these rooms... Trust me for all you can, the rooms in this building are impeccable... We were left mesmerised the minute we entered our rooms...flawless is the word...the rooms are beautifully designed to perfection with perfect sea view straight from the bed...exactly as shown in the pictures...probably better than that...i must say the decor was a perfect delight to the eyes.. We were so impressed with all of this that we decided to drop all our travel plns in mallorca and just relax and enjoy all that the hotel has to offer...trust me, this place will make you do that.... As a lil welcome gesture, the hotel offered us a complimentary bottle of champagne and some desserts... A lil suggestion here...please choose a room on the top floor for the best sea views... The breakfast was good...lil monotonous but worked fine...the hotel offers complimentary access to the steam sauna and jacuzzi, which were maintained to perfection again, absolutely clean and well taken care of...the infinity pool is a visual delight again and perfect place to relax with a glass of beer, blue waters and the soft breeze... The staff was very courteous, jolly, helpful and always at your service..diana, slyvia, joan (please excuse me for the spelling errors, if any) ensured that we had a perfect stay...my special thanks to diana and slyvia for arranging everything we needed, even beyond their capacities....we requested them bath salts...which were not a part of the offered toiletries; however they somehow arranged it... Guided us so well with the sightseeings and the best places to eat in the island... I have read a lot of negative feedback on the service at the hotel...trust me, it is more than perfect...i cannot even point out one flaw in my entire duration of stay at this hotel... Finally, curious after reading all the appreciation for the rooms in the main building, I wanted to see one for myself to fo home satisfied that i dint miss on anything...slyvia showed me one... The big grin on my face said it all...the rooms in the main building are good but are just another hotel rooms...although, they do offer an unobstructed sea view, it is juz from one small window... While from the rooms in the nature's building, you have an amazing sea view directly from your bed, and through the entire glass wall in front... Of course these rooms are a lil secluded, but wouldn't you want some privacy when you are on a vacation like this... All my votes to this property, the rooms in the nature's building, and the amazing amazing hospitality... Our stay here has been the most memorable stay of our vacation in spain ... P.s the area has a lot of eateries, no hassles wat so ever and is well connected by public transport...mojo cafe nearby is surely not to be missed !! We ll love to visit again !!!😀😀
"A nice secluded cocoon for week-end escape"
We spent two nights here at the end of our Mallorcan tour. The hotel is imposing and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and give you a real 5-star service from the check-in. The main building is stunning, and has an amazing view on the pool area and the bay. It's a perfect place for lazying all day by the pool. We stayed in one of the rooms in the new building that is on the other side of the road from the main building. There's a nice under-path that connect them. The rooms where very big, their's a sort of big bathtub/small pool on the balcony. It looks nice, but the water didn't seem too clean and it was pretty cold so we didn't use it. The street is however directly in front of the room and I am afraid it could get pretty noisy during high season, although when we stayed we weren't disturbed by it. The maintenance of the rooms seemed sometime a little "relaxed", for example we had a cracked toilet seat or the shower soap holder in the shower was dangling (Nothing that would ruin your holyday but a bit surprising for a 5*), but it was low season and they seemed busy renovating some areas. The spa area is nice, it has a half indoor half outdoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym and other. Finally, the restaurant is good without being exceptional, but pricey. The bar however is impressive and the cocktails amazing!
