"Love the room and breakfast"
For all the hotels I've been, the breakfast is always bad but this place has a good assortment of breakfast and definitely worth the money top up for it. I also like the room size as it's pretty spacious.
"it feel like old hotel but is good hotel"
Okay here my experience for staying in this hotel for 2 weeks Pro - Breakfast buffet is plenty and has so many choices - Near asia jaya LRT station - TV has international channel (but need to improve again) - For Moslem, this hotel has Mushalla - Has fitness center - In my room has ironing, hair dryer Minus - No swimming pool - Bad wifi range (in the bed signal quality is poor, but near door is good for my room) - Need to upgrade bed quality - Elevator is slow (well i'm stayed for 2 weeks)
Checked in at about 2pm, reception was pretty busy, they were efficient but not really friendly, smiles were present but it seemed more like they were stuck in a dead end job rather than willing to serve. Anyway, check in was smooth, did not offer me another room key even though the booking was 2 persons twin sharing. No matter, rooms were "re-furbished", does not look that dated. Decent size, fairly comfortable beds. TV was working fine, wifi a little shaky at times. Overall was okay. One thing to note, the bath room does not come with a floor towel, literally had to step on the outside flooring with your wet bare foot (no bedroom slippers too). Did not try the breakfast as we had to head to the airport early. Night reception guy was pretty friendly. Re-cut me a second key when i approached him. Construction was everywhere, bumpy roads, dusty streets. Almost no form of shopping/convenience store (10 minutes away by foot). Best to use Grab or Uber to get around as no cabs turn in unless dropping off guests of the hotel. Overall, nothing to shout about, it was a decent hotel for a short stay. It wasn't the worst, but then it did not rank high up there for the best too.
"Inconsistent service at front desk, pot holed access road, poor sound proofing in room,"
Poor service at reception on our arrival on 29 Oct around 5pm. 3 staff were busy counting money whilst another 2 staff appeared overwhelmed by the paperwork they were doing, and ignored guests who were waiting to be served. They also were not attentive as to who came first, and were going to serve the person who came after me, until I spoke up. Not all staff were indifferent, as the lady who was on duty on sun 30 Oct in the morning, was courteous and helpful to our needs. We also had a quick efficient check out by the person on duty on 31 Oct morning. The hotel is located across a busy road from the AsiaJaya LRT station. The road leading to the hotel is filled with potholes, not tarred, uneven and unpleasant to walk on. The entry to this road is also difficult for taxis or pick up drivers to find - our first uber driver did not manage to reach our hotel, and we could see his vehicle taking wrong turns on our phone. Our relative, a local also had difficulty sending us back to the hotel due to perhaps to the maps not being updated or the roads being diverted. There are no shops or eating places nearby. Our room had adjoining doors to the next room, but was not properly sound proofed, and we could hear the noisy occupants next door throughout the night. Maintenance was poor: the bulb in the stand up floor lamp was blown and the aircon was straining to barely keep the room cool. The staff serving breakfast were great; prompt in clearing used plates and prepared a good variety of tasty food. Wait till the road is properly tarred and more sections of the hotel are renovated before you consider this hotel, and also when they can provide front desk service.
A great place to stay while you're in town. The room was so nice and comfortable. I personally like the bathroom cause they provide magnified mirror for me doing makeup. For the breakfast it was good but the juice is taste like more water than juice. overall, everything was good!
