Art hotel is a walking distance from Rome's most famous attractions such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain Pantheon, and Villa Borghese gardens.
"Great location, excellent service, good WiFi"
Pros: Location, location and location. Just a few steps from the Spanish Steps. Near Piazza del Popolo. Convenient to the Spanish Steps metro station. Both firm and soft pillows Large, thick, absorbent towels Interesting perk: a mobile phone is sitting on the desk of the room in a charger with free data and local (Italian) calls. You can use it around the city. First time I've ever seen something like this. I was able to charge my phone using the micro-usb port which was handy. Breakfast was good. A good variety of croissants, fruit, deli stuff, etc. The cappuccino was good as was the espresso I got later on. When i checked out early on the last morning, before the breakfast area opened up, they gave me a "breakfast box" - basically juice (banana and strawberry - interesting ), fruit and a power bar. Coffee had just been brewed too (it was around 06:00). The bed was firm - just the way I like it. The staff was all excellent and accommodating. Very nice and professional Cons: My room only had a shower, no bathtub - not a problem for me but maybe for some The bathroom was tiny but not disastrously so. At breakfast the scrambled eggs appeared to be reconstituted. There are some items that aren't included in the continental breakfast and must be paid for separately - one of these is an omelette which I'm used to asking for at higher quality hotels like this and having it be part of the included breakfast. Additional notes: The people coordinating my visit to Rome mistakenly booked only one night when two were requested. I didn't check out after the first night (at check-in the number of nights I'd be staying was not brought up so I didn't realize the mistake) and the next day, via a circuitous route, I found out that the hotel was surprised that I'd not checked out (presumably because the maids found all my belongings still in the room). The hotel dealt with the problem, leaving my things where they were until it could be sorted out. Very professionally dealt with on their part. The name "Art Hotel" is taken seriously. There is art everywhere. I had a Gauguin print in my room. There's a giant orange snail art installation just outside the entrance to the hotel.
This is actually my second visit, first was almost 10 yrs ago but the location is what brought me back again. It is literally off Spanish Steps surrounded by every brand store you can think of, and within walking distance to everything! Service at the hotel was very friendly, and we have arranged a tour to Vatican with them which bypass all the queues! Breakfast is included and is of good quality, which is recommended as there aren't many choices outside of the hotel. The only downside is the rooms are quite small... for long haul travel it barely has enough space for a second luggage. However design is quite functional with a good size bathroom as well. I would definitely go back again when I next visit Rome!
"Perfect Stay in my beloved Rome!"
Very stylish hotel within walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are on the smaller side but very clean and equipped. Loved the turning down service too. Breakfast is generous and varied. Staff are very friendly and very helpful.
Great stylish hotel in what I think is one of Rome's classiest and quaint streets. The minute you arrive on Via Margutta you will see. It's an elegant street. So quiet. The hotel must have been newly renovated as it's really artsy, modern but has has elements of Roman style. The rooms are on the smaller side, but were very nice. Location is excellent as you are in walking distance to many attractions. Service was very friendly and professional. Highly recommended. Steve Florida USA.
"Wonderful hotel and excellent location"
This hotel has and excellent location a four minutes walk from the piazza spania on a quiet little street. The design of the hotel is very unique each floor the walls, cieling and floor are painted a different colour red, yellow, green blue and orange. The rooms are small but comfortable and the bed and pillows are comfortable as well. A rich and delicious breakfast is served and the stuff is very friendly and helpful.
