Art hotel is a walking distance from Rome's most famous attractions such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain Pantheon, and Villa Borghese gardens.
Hotel Art by the Spanish Steps is in a great location within a much-too-easy walk of the main shopping streets of Rome. The rooms are not large but are comfortably fitted with good showers. The colour coordination by floor comes along the corridors and into the bathrooms - 3rd floor was orange! Not for those upset by bright colours. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. A good value hotel in a medium-price bracket.
Perfect location, fun vibe, very helpful staff, and nice room. On a quiet street within walking distance to everything. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Great recommendations for local restaurants as well.
A very interesting hotel tucked away in quiet via Margutta. The street is quiet and very pretty. It is an art area and during our three days we saw some remarkable bronze statues along the street. It is also close to the Spanish steps and via Barbuini, piazza del popolo. In fact everything is within a short walking distance. The shopping is spectacular, the sights second to none. The area is full of good restaurants and bars. The hotel is an old church, its entrance and bar area has soaring vaulted ceilings with high light windows. The bar area still retains the old marble altar. The room was very well appointed, the bed comfortable with good linen. The room was a little dark despite two windows open. The breakfast was very good with a choice of hot and cold food, juices and good coffee. The staff were at all times helpful and obliging. We would come back.
Booked after reading TA reviews. Loved the location and the quirkiness; fabulous breakfast buffet; easy walking and close to Metro stop. Only thing to be aware is the standard room is compact but once we settled in we enjoyed it.
"A Hidden Gem"
Located on a beautiful, small, quiet street with art galleries and boutiques, Hotel Art is a luxury hotel just minutes from the Spanish Steps and within walking distance of many monuments. The neighborhood is full of beautiful streets, loads of excellent restaurants and cafes and shops. Our room was perfect, Italian modern furnishings, ultra modern bathroom, and an extremely comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was an unbelievable feast of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads and cakes, and of course wonderful coffee and cappuccino. Thank you Guiliano, who always knew when I needed another cappuccino. The staff was amazing, especially Ferdinando, who directed us to the best gelato and tiramisu in Rome, just minutes from the hotel, and took care of rescheduling our tours when we couldn't make the original times. Matteo, the manager, was always available and friendly and makes sure everything runs smoothly. This was, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and would definitely return to again and again.
