"Ok if you get cheap price but not nice hotel "
Bad: Rooms are bad no fresh air at all. Feels like smoking room and smells bad. Interiör feels old The hotel took double deposition of me and reserved the double amount they just asked me to wait a few days. Bad service but finallag Angelica in the reception heller me and called my bank. The others were not helpful at all. Very hard bed and pillows I could hardly sleep all night. Big hotel and not a a personal one too many people. No mini bar refill in room. No amenities in room. Ok: Breakfast ok bad but juice and coffee bad. The location is ok near the U bahn but still not central. Cleaning was ok.
Just got home after a short stay in Hotel Berlin. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Hotel reception staff were very helpful. There are lots of facilities such as a gym, sauna, bar and restaurant but I didn't use them but they appeared well stocked. Public transport close by able to reach anywhere easily.
"Beautiful hotel lots to see "
Clean, tidy and well presented hotel, comfortable beds, plenty of space in the rooms, helpful friendly staff. Close to city centre and only 20 mins taxi ride from TXL airport which cost €20 Hadn't read that the hotel hold €50 on a credit card as a deposit on the room, which is release upon leaving so long as no damage has been caused or any charges incurred. The Hard Rock Cafe is about a 15 min walk, and there's plenty of restaurants to eat in. The main town centre is about 45 mins to walk and you can book to go into the Reichstag dome (you need to book in at the white kiosk hut across the road to secure your place , take your passport also, its free) you will also find the Brandenburg gate. And pass the teirgarten soviet war memorial. Drinks are around €3.90 beir, €9.90 cocktails. Foods around €11.90 for a main course in restaurants. There's also a massive food hall in the Berlin mall, you will also find checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall remanence (potsdammer platz) and the topographie des terrors museum also worth a visit and free!
This is a great hotel within easy reach of all the places to go, with a 'U' station within just a few minutes walk We booked a Premier Room but I'm assured all the other types of rooms are of the same quality. Although we didn't eat in the hotel the food looked of great standard, there are quite a few restaurants just a short walk away and I would definitely recommend Ambrosius which is diagonally across from the hotel on Einemstraße.
"Very good business Hotel"
The new rooms are very good and the staff very pleasant. Only felt the breakfast is a bit confusing. The internet wireless worked vey well. I felt the F&B items at the reception are a bit too expensive.
