"Worth restaurant evere"
My wife and we're solicitated of the street to enjoy their happy hour. We were quoted 50% of the meals and the same for drinks. When the bill came it was for $93.00 for a veggie wrap a Cuban sandwich and two mojitos. After complaining the bill came down to $70 and after more complaints finally to $45... by the way they include a 20% gratuity in the bill automatically. Obviously people are sick and tired of being rip off so the waiters were never being tip. Avoid the place like the plague, all they will do is con you.
"What a pleasant surprise!"
The staff was amazing! We absolutely loved the professionalism from the employees at the front desk, valet and manager. The breakfast was delicious especially the coffee. We road bikes everyday and even got a flat tire. They took care of us. Thank you for everything!
"3 night stay"
The room 404 was very large and spacious, the music from the rooftop bar next door finishes at 4-5am so do not expect any sleep before that time! It is in the disco party area so to be expected. The food is expensive as due to location , we ate once in the restaurant fish & chip , 1 burger and chip plus 2 gin and tonic =$110 which included 20% tip. My burger was cold and remade , commented to manager on the cold food and got a response " do you want a free drink '" Breakfast was consistently warm not hot, limited selection but adequate.. Taxi to downtown Miami and back with good food and drinks was the same price as above as a comparison
"It was ok"
We stayed for 5 nights, you are right in the centre of everything and across the road from the beach that was great. the rooms were clean and they were cleaned everyday ( well bed made and bin emptied). We did get fresh towels but at times the old ones were not taken away, the staff tended to be not rude but at times very grumpy. The buffet breakfast was very boring after day one and the food of poor Quality, if you walk a few blocks back there are far better places to eat. The ice cream parlour attached to the hotel is good and worth trying, we had a cocktail in the bar one night and felt coned. It was bye one get one free, we asked for small ones but the waitress bought us large. She seemed (pretended) not to under stand when we questioned it, so it cost us about $190. You need to read the small print on the menus regarding the tax and service charge it's high and the don't tell you this. We will not be staying here again it maybe in a good location and that's what you pay for, but so not worth the money. Take your time when booking and look at the motels/hotels a few blocks back much better value for money and they might have happier staff. It's really easy to get about and if you use uber taxi so cheap to get about, so stay off the strip and get more for you money.
"Middle of the party"
The hotel is in the middle of all the big Ocean restaurants. It's a loud location, but lots of fun. Our room had double windows that blocked out the music that goes on all night. Our room was right under the hotel sign and part ocean view. The staff was friendly and attentive enough. Complimentary breakfast was the same everyday. We borrowed bikes couple days and rode along the boardwalk. Restaurant on Ocean are super expensive. Don't get fooled by "happy hour". Drinks are anywhere on average between $15-$35. Go to restaurants on Washington.
