"Absolutely great views of the Opera House and exceptional Customer Service"
We have stayed here multiple times and each time we have been pleasantly surprised--from Christmas ornament gifts, to cakes on our anniversary, and complimentary wine ''just because''). Lovely views of the Opera House and the streets below. Ask for a Suite and you'll have the luxury of a balcony as well (in most cases--the largest suite--the Puccini--is without a balcony but it makes up for it with a bathtub and opulent living and dining room). Luxuriant bath and shower amenities and service on-demand, this hotel is ready to serve in any way. The breakfast in their restaurant is divine (though the service leaves much to the imagination). Great to visit during the Festive holidays, as there are many decorations and pleasant little touches to make it feel very "merry". Note: only one "key" given--as it is an actual KEY...very charming but a bit bulky for a wristlet or pocket :)
"Charming grand old hotel with modern touches"
Hotel Bristol is very unique, and it really shows it has history and it shines with that warm and cosy feeling of nearly 130 years old unprecedented looks and hospitality. Location is a dream, hotel really fits nicely into surrondings, and the view on the Opera is amazing. 50m from the hotel there is Metro Station Karlsplatz in which you can take U1, U2, U4 lines of Metro. In front of the hotels entrance there is Light Rail Station. And many of sites in Vienna are walking distance from hotel. The room we stayed at was warm and cosy, with large walk-in closet, separate toilet, separate 2 person standing shower and large bathtub. Bathroom amenities are from renowned brand Gilchrist & Soames and are very nice choice. Besides walk-in closet, there were large closets in wall in the room. The bed was marvelous, you will surely get good night sleep and wake up full of energy and ready to storm Vienna. Speaking of unique, even the keys are unique, they are bit on the heavy side, but are unforgetable and show respect for hotels history. There is 24 hours opened gym at the top floor of hotel overlooking the opera. Went there just for visit, didn't have the time to check it out but it seems equiped and view is great. If you are in Vienna be sure to check Bristol Vienna, it is really gem of the city.
This grand hotel is steps away from the Opera House, and major attractions within the Ringstrasse. The staff tended to all of my needs from the time I entered the front door until sadly leaving 5 days later. Matthew at the front desk, and chefs Andrew and Alex were especially great. Spacious rooms, nice health club, and excellent breakfast selection.
"Grand old hotel with modern touches"
This hotel was all decked out for christmas when we were there. The staff is very friendly, and used to an international crowd. The rooms are comfortable, and some have very nice views of the opera house. The in house restaurant is probably one of the best dining locations in vienna in terms of getting traditional viennese cuisine. The kids really loved the historic elevator with the seat in the elevator. The location can't be beat.
"Spirit of the oldCity"
Not only the fact that is located beside the Opera House, but also everything about Hotel Bristol is about providing an aristocratic smell on everything you do. From his big luxurious rooms with the heavy coloured curtains, to the grand lobby area with the real firesite, from the kidness of its - always serious and always helpful - personnel to the executive support and in room services, everything works fine and you rest always assured, that your desired will be satisfied immediately.
