"Terrible service and experience and attitude to hotel guests"
Good: The only good thing about the hotel was location. The rest, unfortunately, was bad experience. Bad: Despite, the fact that car reservation is not needed in hotel, I still asked to reserve it. When I have arrived to the hotel around 9 p.m., the hotel was fully parked. The receptionist noted that parking is full and he cannot do anything about it – just be sorry. I had to circle around the streets in the dark searching for a place to park being a stranger in the Berlin and not knowing surrounding area at all. The next day, late in the evening, i came back to the hotel. I have found the place for a car almost in front of the hotel main entrance. Being not sure about local parking rules, I have double checked at the reception again: “Am I allowed to park the car in the street in front of the hotel'”. I got confirmation, that parking on Saturday from 10 p.m. and the whole Sunday is free of charge, so I can for sure leave the car there. This is what I have done. The next day I have not found the car on the street, it was taken away by police due to Berlin’s marathon day. When I complained in the reception that yesterday I got approval to leave the car in the street and being not local and also not understanding the local language, I was not informed about any marathon day, receptionist in a quite rude manner told me that this is not his fault and he cannot talk on behalf of his colleagues. I also did not get any help regarding how to reach police station and how to get car back. All was left as "your" problem. When checking-out I addressed the receptionist again does the hotel is willing to compensate my time and money loss due to the incompetent employees suggestions and bad service towards the hotel quests. I’ve been told, that this is not their fault and he cannot do anything about it. Then I asked to call the higher or customer relations manager, but got answer that he is the one and can represent the hotel position fully. So, I asked, can he keeping the good name of the hotel and willing at least somehow to compensate my loss and caused troubles, cover or at least half share the cost of car taking away fine' He responded that he cannot take such decision and will not do anything about it. In the beginning, I refused and commented, that I do not agree and not ready to pay for my stay in the hotel due to such attitude. To this I got response, that hotel already has my credit card data, so they will charge me anyway with or without my approval. This is a low level attitude towards the quests, so I did not argued anymore and paid the hotel bill and left. I have visited many hotels around the world and I know that usually, employees standing at the reception for the 4 stars level hotel are the face of good representation of the hotel, high service and its values. Unfortunately, this is not the case at this hotel with such receptionists. I did not had good service from the moment I arrived till the moment I left. I did not saw the will from your hotel to help quests, that got into trouble keeping advices from the hotel staff. The only policeman and people on the street, that helped me to catch a taxi, were truly sorry for the happened accident. The hotel received my written complaint several days later, but as "a sorry" offered upgrade without fees to a higher category and a discount of 10 % of the price, just by directly booking. But having such an accident, I will no longer use the services of such hotel.
The hotel itself was quite good. Great location, clean rooms, good breakfast. However..........the reception staff is horrible and rude. Yesterday 18.04.17 there was a queue of customers waiting for customer service manager to complaint. Horrible reception staff.
The hotel is well designed and in a good location. On the other hand, there was no kettle or drinking water in the room, the hotel didn't fix a broken lamp in our room and the rooms were a bit dark. I was also disappointed that the spa is 12 euros per person even though it has only a sauna. The breakfast was good but for a price of 12 euros per person.

We arrived at 11pm on Sunday night , the night porter checked us in he was very charming, we stayed for 3 nights hotel location was great nice and clean hotel, we had drinks in the bar and nico (Greek ) was charming and very welcoming nothing was any trouble, advised us on transport and places off interest, we would definitely recommend this hotel
"4 Stars for quality but not for space"
I stayed here recently with a group of mates visiting Berlin for a few days. The Hotel is located in a very pleasant area of Berlin which, like almost everywhere else is very well connected in terms of transportation. (It was only a ten minute walk to the nearest train station.) We found the hotel online where is was priced very competitively and turned out to be good value for money. The hotel was fairly modern and the rooms were very comfortable, but were a bit short of space. I would describe my room as being about the size I would expect in an IBIS hotel but with a bit more quality. There was always plenty hot water for the shower/bath and the room had a room safe which was useful. Staff were polite and friendly, and the Haagen Das Ice cream parlour built onto the hotel was useful for coffees in the morning ( and ice cream in the afternoon ). I didn't see many restaurants nearby and didn't eat in the hotel, but across the street and round the corner, just to the left was a take away pizza shop which was cheap n cheerful but useful in an eating emergency! All in all a good stay in a nice hotel, comfortable and providing value for money.
