"A little gem in the heart of la Marais"
Firstly I would like to thank Tierre at reception. His service is outstanding. Courteous, friendly and treated me and my partner like we were being welcomed home each time we retired to the room. Thank you for helping us get taxis, booking restaurants. The hotel. This hotel is way above the 3* it proclaims. The hotel has 18 rooms, situated down a small quiet road right in the heat of la Marais. Near the hotel is a picturesque little square which is filled with cafes open until 00H -01H - however this CANNOT be heard from the hotel. The location is perfection, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of cute boutique shops, bars, restaurants and of course the cafes. So for the location 100000000% bonus. Also a 2 min walk to the nearest metro which is line 1 St-Paul. Download the Paris metro app and you have the whole city at your doorstep. The hotel Small reception and we were in room 01 - behind reception first we asked to move as we were concerned about noise but this was not an issue. In the day you can of course hear people walking past but we were out at 8am for our breakfast. Ideally on our next stay (which we will) we will ask for a higher floor room. (There is only one room on the ground floor) in the room it is small but adequate. - all city rooms are the same unless your going to shell out on a suite' Room had TV with 40 up to date movies, TV and music. Bathroom with l'occitaine bath products and a full fridge of soft drinks and snacks. Decor - modern, grey, black and white in our room I would say chic. Breakfast is extra at €14 which is on floor -1 no windows. You have Paris on your doorstep with a million cafes so we didn't take up this offer. All in all such a lovely, clean, modern and friendly stay and I would always recommend I am cabin crew in my usual line of work so you can take this review as experienced.
"25th Wedding Anniversary"
Hotel Caron is the perfect place to stay while in Paris. Great location in between Rue Rivoli, a major thoroughfare through Paris, and Place St Catherine, a quiet park where you can relax at the end of he day. We could easily get to every major site from this location. The staff at the hotel treated us very well; they recommended several excellent restaurants in the area and ensured every concern was taken care of with a smile. I want to specifically thank Helen at the front desk: when I tried to check in for my flight the night before our departure, the airline website was in French (I do not speak French) and she didn't hesitate to help me and spent well over a half an hour assisting me. Great service. I highly recommend this hotel.
"A delightful place to stay in the Marais district of Paris"
Hotel Caron in Marais district of Paris is a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are small but well appointed with a complimentary bar fridge with water and soft drinks. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful in providing information of the local area and arranging transport to Charles De Gaulle Airport It is very conveniently located with the bus and metro close by. The hotel edges on the Place du Marche Sainte Catherine which has a very good selection of restaurants at very reasonable prices. An easy walk to Notre Dame and The Louvre.
"An hotel to return to."
Hotel Caron is really well located in the Marais, in an area which is a mix of commercial and residential. A great position from which to explore both Right and Left Banks, and at the end of the block is the buzzing Place du Marche Sainte Catherine, for a relaxing drink or easy meal at the end of the day. The hotel has been tastefully renovated, is comfortable, clean and efficiently run. and the staff and management are exceptional for their friendly and helpful service. I will return to Hotel Caron whenever I come to the Marais area.
"Hotel in the Marais"
The hotel is located in the Marais district which is very walkable with access to great museums. sights and shops. The rooms look newly renovated and bathrooms while tiny are new and elegantly designed. Two out of the three people we dealt with at the front desk were friendly, all were helpful. Breakfast was a waste, expensive and bad.
