This hotel is located in the heart of the historical quarter, in Rúa Azabachería, 50 metres from Plaza del Obradoiro and 10 from the Cathedral and Plaza de la Quintana.
Lovely place to stay, good breakfast and the staff are very helpful. Only two downsides are the rooms facing the street are noisy and the wi-fi continually disconnects. Other than that it is a great location and the rooms are very comfortable. Large bath too!
"Right in the middle of the old town"
Very nice hotel, very cosy as there is not many rooms. To get there with a car is a little challenge but once you are, everything is at walking distance. The hotel will recommend you a private parking, which is easy to find. Breakfast are amazing and Beatrice treated us very well. There is no restaurant beside for breakfast but the hotel is surrounded by all sort of restaurant. The size of the room is very big and bed very confortable. It was a great stay.
"Very good staff"
We stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel at midnight and we paid 21 euros. The check in was very smooth and we were in our lovely room in no time. The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the old town, a few metres from the cathedral. The breakfast was very good! There is no hot food, but we didn't miss it at all. The staff were excellent! Absolutely everyone we met was nice. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile 😊 If we are back in Santiago de Compostela we will definitely come back to this hotel.
"Charming Boutique Hotel in Old Town"
A perfect end to a perfect Camino! I made a reservation while I was still a few hours outside of Santiago and arrived in the old town to find a charming, boutique hotel. The location is ideal, the staff were very helpful, and the price was just right.
"Conveniently located in old town with a wonderful staff"
Getting here can be a bit difficult but the staff gives very helpful directions before arrival. Since it is in the heart of old town, the streets are restricted and narrow. There's only one way in & it's restricted meaning you must be allowed in after contacting authorities via intercom at the restricted intersection. Once there, the staff is very helpful with your bags and any other needs. We were in room 302 during the slow season, just before Christmas, so it seemed like we had the place to ourselves. Room 302 is nice but since it is lofted (built into the slope of the roof), the room was rather warm most of the time. Granted, it was unseasonably warm during our stay. There is a skylight in the room which can be opened to vent some of the heat which the AC did little to alleviate. Breakfast is located a short distance from the lobby and the staff makes every effort to make sure you're taken care of. Breakfast offerings were ample (meats, cheeses, danishes...etc.). I'm not sure what this hotel would be like during the busy season but it was very quiet and restful while we were there. The hotel is a very short walk from most all of old town and just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral. Parking is off site and a pretty long walk but understandable given the hotel's location in old town. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for everything from location, service and comfort.
