"Weekend in Paris"
Three couples spent a three-day weekend in Paris. Our Hotel (Hotel Claridge) was a very good choice by our travel agent. It was clean, comfortable, the breakfast was good and the service was very friendly. This hotel location is in a somewhat quiet section of Paris but close to the Arch and the Eiffel Tower. We spent three nights there and all three couples were very happy. We enjoyed our stay!
"little gem in the heart of Paris"
we have never stayed here before but will remember this hotel for next time. It was very well placed very close to Champs Elyses and the car park was opposite which was excellent! Our room was light and airy and had a balcony, we were very close to amazing boutiques and all walkable distance from the hotel. The staff were friendly and the room was very large and bathroom also a good size. We had breakfast included in the room which was really good, with bacon and eggs if you wanted, all in all a first class stay!
"Charming and Quaint"
On our way back from a business trip, my colleague and I (two ladies) planned to spend three nights in Paris at the end of November 2016 and were looking for a good 4-star hotel in Paris which would offer reasonable rates, when a friend suggested Claridge to me. They offered two rates for the standard room, which would be cheaper on the full advance payment option. My online reservation said that at 181.33 Euros per night you could have bed and breakfast. However on departure we were notified that we had to pay 20 Euros for breakfast per person per day. So my piece of advice is to have this clarified before you go. The location is just perfect. At the heart of Paris in a walking distance to all the hustle and bustle of Champ Elysees. The staff was friendly and gave us good advice on how to get to different sightseeing areas using the underground which would be much cheaper than a taxi or a rickshaw. There is a good supermarket just across the street where you can buy nearly everything, esp. drinking water. The room had coffee and tea making facilities, was clean and was rather small. The hotel looks like a family run BB as regards the size but you would feel quite satisfied. There were two tables by the window where you could have your breakfast literally on the pavement and I really loved those. All in all, it was worth it.
We have stayed in this hotel before about two years ago, and it certainly didn't disappoint, it's a lovely little place the rooms are pleasent and comfortable and warm(we stayed December) the location is excellent just off ' the champs' there are a few bar/bistros nearby catering for a variety of tastes and pockets, everyone that we encountered was very pleasent and helpful, would definitely go back again .
"Hotel CLARIDGE rue François 1"
Excellent value for money in the heart of Paris. Clean rather spacious room for a center of Paris, attentive staff. Rooms are modern chic, refurbished. If you get a room over the inner court, there is no noise. However, a disadvantage is if you get neighbours in the adjacent room, you might as well be aware of their presence despite of extra noise protection the hotel installed. Excellent location: close to the best shopping, Eiffel tower is visible, good restaurants within 2 minutes: Relais d'entrecôte is one of them.
