"Comfortable and Convenient"
Excellent location for rail travellers, just five minutes walk from Valencia Nord station and many of the city sights, restaurants and shops. Smart hotel off a side street, comfortable room and bed with a good breakfast selection. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. Happy Hour early evening with reduced price drinks and a complimentary tapas a nice touch before the restaurant opened. No real negatives although I do find showers designed without curtains odd.
We arrived in Valencia by train and had booked this hotel as it was only a five minute walk from the Valencia north station. Easy to find from the station and central location for old town and commercial centre. Slightly longer walk to get to parks etc, but we love walking. If you don't it's easy to get the metro and there is a station about two minutes walk from the hotel. Room comfortable, bed nice, room warm but not stuffy. Bathroom could do with an update, but it was nothing that a new bit of grout etc couldn't fix. My only complaints really, which were minor, are firstly on our last day cleaning staff were hoovering outside our room at 8am and secondly the hotel advised us that between 6 and 8pm they have a happy hour were drinks are half price and you get free tapa. On our first night we went down to the bar area (there is no actual bar) to have a drink before going out, but there was not staff member to be seen. My other half popped into the restaurant area to see if the bar was in there or if there was someone to serve us, but nothing! So we just went out. Having said that, there were people sitting having drinks the next night, so maybe they were struggling for staff the night we tried. Overall would stay again for location and value but there are lots of hotels here with great locations.
"Peaceful, central hotel"
Centrally located for transport services. Peaceful hotel with relaxing lounge, spacious dining room. Rooms comfortable and quiet with adequate facilities. Breakfast choice adequate - I did not sample the hot breakfast.
Apart from the brown water on the first day which was very bizarre, it is generally a good hotel. The rooms are clean and warm although very dimly lit and some oddly located lights. The room was very warm and cosy and the bed was comfortable. Shower was oddly placed over the bath. The breakfast buffet is very poor although there a number of eating establishments in the vicinity. The location is excellent a stone's throw from the station and withinn easy access of the old town. All in all it is a decent hotel although I wouldn't eat there.
Very comfortable business-type hotel, conveniently situated in city centre, in a quiet street a short walk from the North Station, Bullring and Central Market and all attractions. Pleasant dining room offering buffet breakfast and a very cosy bar area with fire for evening drinks. Happy Hour from 18:00-20:00 offering half-price drinks and free tapas
