"Not only a hotel of great views but of amability and comfortability"
I would completely recommend this hotel to my family/friends. What was best was not only the views but also how the workers treated you. I chose this hotel because of the reviews of TripAdvisor and they were 100% true! The only thing that could be considered to improve is to pay a bit more attention to maintenance (but this wasn't something that really annoyed).
We brought two groups of cyclists to Hotel des Trois Couronnes. The hotel staff was gracious and accomodating allowing the group to take apart their tandem bikes in the underground garage and storing cases for 2 weeks while touring in Catalonya. They also encouraged us to have our after ride gathering in the lobby "that's what it is there for!" even providing glasses for wine. The rooms were newly updated (that new carpet smell!) and were clean. Room sizes vary and some are small - not too unusual for most hotels in France. Views of the old city are fabulous and visible from the dining rooms and many of the hotel rooms. We had a group dinner there at the end of each tour and the kitchen and dining room staff did a great job. It isn't always easy to provide group dinners of high quality and they exceeded our expectations. We would definitely return.
"Comfortable stay, with fantastic views!"
I stayed here for 4 nights and was very comfortable. I had a quiet room on the 4th floor, comfortable bed, lovely towels and plenty of hot water. The location is fantastic, you are 5 mins walk away from the new town and about 10 mins away from the old city. I had sea bass one evening in the lovely hotel restaurant which overlooks the old city - fabulous food and a view to die for. The hotel is easy to get to, take the airport bus from the airport which drops you at Dome. The hotel is a few minutes walk away. The receptionist, Alexandria was very nice and speaks English well. I asked if I could borrow and iron and she gave me one, and also for some milk for my tea - as this is not provided in the room. There is a kettle and bottled water is also provided. I had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay there again. Outwith the hotel I ate dinner at Chez Fred (across from the train station) which I highly recommend, and Le Longchamp in the new town main square is good for lunch.
We stayed here for four nights as a mini-break to explore the town and the surrounding area. Located within metres of the Pont Vieux and a short 10-15 min walk from the old city. The reception was welcoming and the staff were friendly most of the time. They also speak perfect English (in case your French is as bad as ours). The room was very clean and bright with basic tea and coffee and bottled water, good shower and comfy bed. The best thing about this hotel was the stunning view of the old city from the balcony which totally made our trip as we could see it all the time and from the bed! We didn't use the restaurant since we were told they were full on the night we tried to eat there. We didn't use the pool either but it looked really lovely with another panoramic view of the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.
Stayed here with my small group tour. Separate toilet from shower and sink. Very small bathroom. Mini fridge in room. No safe. A/C worked great. Nice bed and pillows. Wifi very slow. Buffet breakfast not enough of a selection. Dinner at the hotel was good. Great view of the castle from the roof. They should have chairs there.
