"seldom seen such excellent price/quality ratio"
Everything was wonderful, from welcome to departure: overall service, newly refurbished, large bedroom with view on countryside, part of the golf course, Deauville, and towards the sea and the Seine estuary, excellent dinner at main restaurant. The building and the setting are beautiful. We had a very good deal and thoroughly enjoyed that short stay.
Very good hotel in a wonderful park. Very nice and authentic room with new bathroom, although equipped with low quality equipment . Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast. The corridors and rooms could a more modern.
"Perfect for Golfers"
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past fifteen years, recently it has undergone a major refurbishment which has brought it in line with a modern five star rated hotel. The food was exceptional, the breakfasts cannot be be beaten, and the dinners superb. The rooms now have a walk in shower and the outside views are stunning over looking Trouville and the gold course which surrounds the hotel. Just be wary that the bar prices are steep you can pay 14 euro for a pint of lager., but they do brew their own cider at 9 euro a pint, probably best to negotiate on the wine we paid 15 euro for a bottle of house red. The holiday was part of a package booked through Golf breaks.
"Golf break "
A weeks golf in the area for six males . Room on 4th floor had been refurbished and in good order..shame there's no air conditioning but large window to open a little cured that. Room well serviced each day ... Bathroom has slight design hiccup as never did shower without getting floor very wet no matter how I tried ! Breakfast excellent and staff brilliant . Ate out in town most nights but did have one bar meal which was very good and plenty to eat. Drinks prices very steep but better than driving into town.. There is a shuttle..apparently..but not at night . Overall a good trip and would return ...golf courses very good test too. Beware ...keep checking your account !! We were charged for drinks at the golf club ...which we always paid cash for ..did get these taken off but I'm sure they didn't believe us !!
