"A moderately priced large quality hotel with excellent service"
Stayed only two nights. I was very impressed with the service quality and the rooms are spaceous and very clean. Price was moderate for such a quality hotel, which is situated a little out of the city centre closer to the IT park. My stay was comfortable, satisfying and without any problems other than one night the KTV opposite was pretty noisy.
Stayed here for 5 nights in February 2017 after getting what appeared to be a good online deal with a well known internet hotel booking site. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival as the impressive hotel lobby suggests good things to come but I was sadly disappointed. If you are from the USA, Canada or Europe and a good breakfast is important to you (as it is to me) I would avoid the hotel on that basis alone. The breakfast seems to cater mainly for the Filipino and Korean guests and there is a good selection of foods if that is your preferred style of breakfast. I arrived at breakfast on the first morning of my stay at about 8.20am, the bread, fruit and egg stations where all empty and I had to chase staff up and ask them to replenish the food. There is no breakfast cereal other than corn flakes and Choco flakes; no muesli, no oatmeal, and no granola. No yoghurt, no fresh milk (only UHT or sterilised milk) and on several mornings no bacon. The fried eggs are pre cooked in the kitchen and then left on display at the buffet table meaning they are often cold. On at least two days of my stay bacon was not available and when I queried this the waiter told me it was because of the menu rotation. The fresh fruit available at breakfast for the whole of my stay was either papaya or water melon with some mornings pineapple and banana added. The first morning I arrived the only bread available was the cheap slightly sweet processed sliced bread that you buy at a supermarket and after I complained wholewheat sliced bread appeared on the following mornings. I was thoroughly disappointed with the breakfast and as a regular visitor to Cebu I know there are many hotels of a similar standard that provide a far superior breakfast buffet catering for a more diverse market than just Korean or Filipinos. The room itself was adequate, however the shower curtain was badly stained with black mould and this just gives the impression that the staff either don't care or are not trained to report issues. I stayed in room 517 and this room should be avoided at all costs as it is directly next to the hotel generator. There was a power cut when I arrived and the generator noise was so loud it permeated the whole room with a loud vibrating noise. I reported this problem to reception and was visited by the security manager who informed me the generator would be switched off by 11pm. Not much good when you have been travelling almost 24 hours and need to relax in peace. The upsides are that the staff are very helpful and polite, the hotel is well situated in the centre of the city and it is modern and clean. There is no pool and the fitness room is pretty basic. The truth is that had I not been asked to pay the full amount up front on checking in, I would have checked out again after the first nights stay. There are a lot of similar priced hotels in Cebu City that offer guests a much better experience than I had. The hotel has a laundry service which is extortionately priced. I wanted four T shirts, four pairs of underwear, one pair of shorts, two shirts and four pairs of socks laundered. To have used the hotel laundry service would have cost me over 1,000 pesos (£16 or $19 USD) yet I walked out of the hotel and crossed the road and had all the items washed and returned the same day for 139 pesos. Incidentally I did email both the head office and the hotel itself to voice my complaints and did not even have the courtesy of a reply. I cannot recommend this as a place to stay.

It was located right in our business area, main reason why we choose it. However, the breakfast buffet was a disappointment. We have a 10-year old and wanted to have milk but the concierge didn't provide us and not too many food to choose from. But, the room was spacious though..
"Excellent customer service"
We spent 2 nights at Elizabeth Hotel Cebu and the customer service is just outstanding. The breakfast buffet is nice: selection of Philippine food and European (veggie omelette, hash browns, bacon, chicken, cereal, selection of sweets, juices etc). The only thing that bothered me was the cleanliness of my room's bathroom - it was clear it hadn't been cleaned as the toilet was not flushed from the previous client and the mirror was absolutely dirty.
눇We stayed here for five nights. Hotel looks classy. It was close to several shopping malls and Ayala shopping mall is within walking distance. Service is excellent. Hotels rooms were clean. At first we stayed in the junior suite then transitioned over to a regular room. Breakfast was excellent, they had several of my favorite Filipino delicacies including the sikwate/ hot chocolate. Servers were exceptionally great. Front desk was accommodating. And the butlers were all exceptional. The only problem I had, Was the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, Wi-Fi was essentially nonexistent. We told them about it, they sent someone from IT but the problem only got worse. I would not consider staying again if the Wi-Fi situation doesn't change. This was evident in both rooms that I stayed in. One room was located in the 8th floor and the other one was in the 4th floor. A couple tips: when you're checking out early or going on an excursion in the morning, let the front desk know that you're going to have your breakfast packed. They never offered this to us as an option but they told us about it after the fact.
