Excellent location! It's within walking distance from the metro and bus stops so coming from the airport and going back won't be a hassle (20 mins via metro). Marcques de Pombal and Burger King is within walking distance (5mins), so if you want to go on a citysightseeing tour bus you're sorted. Plus, there's a mini grocery store beside the hotel and a few good restaurants to eat. Rooms are spacious and clean as expected from an Ibis hotel.
We stayed at the ibis styles for a long weekend from the 9th to the 13th March 2017.when we arrived at 9pm the reception staff were very helpful, overall the hotel was very clean all the staff were very friendly and helpful , our rooms were very nice the shower was really good ,breakfast was included which was a good way to start the day . I would recommend the hotel for a nice break the price was very reasonable. The hotel is in a good area about 20 mins walk into the heart of Lisbon the walk is mainly down a lovely avenue with shops and a few cafes ,
"Hotel in a convenient location"
The hotel is located nearby Pombal square, metro and bus are departing from there connecting with the main attractions of the city. The city centre is also easily accessible also within walking distance, about 20 min walk. The surrounding area offers a good choice of restaurants and wine shops. The hotel has been recently refurbished, rooms are clean and comfortable. The only complain is one very noisy night caused by other guest arrived at 11.15pm and talking laud until 2am, reception was requested to intervene, but no success. Some people is simply disrespectful of other guest.
"very comfortable stay"
We had a problem with our booking as it had been cancelled twice by someone. However it was reinstated at the nth hour. We had requested for a room on a higher floor but at the time of check in, we did not get it. In the room allotted to us,the bathroom fittings were faulty and since our stay was for 7 nights, we were shifted to a good room. Vasco and Marlene Silva at the reception desk were very helpful, polite and courteous. Breakfast was not very good and breakfast items like croissants, bread, tarts, etc. were not being replenished and we had to wait for a long time. We noticed that the first couple of days the juice was good, but later on, it used to be diluted with water. Also, the lady attendant did not speak or understand English, which made it difficult to communicate. The hotel is clean and the room given to us was very comfortable and quiet. There were no nearby room doors banging at night. We had very disturbing nights at Mercure Porto Centro in Porto. The location of the hotel is very good : it is close to the Metro station at Praça Marques de Pombal. This Metro station has very good connections to sightseeing, restaurants and shopping. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would certainly recommend Ibis Styles, Lisbon.
