Good location(based on your need) satisfactory customer service below average room, bed, pillows and housekeeping. Breakfast was same everyday so if you are staying there for a week it gets boring.. it was blend.. I had a single bed room.. it was claustrophobic. I could hear the next door person phone ringing (and it was on vibrate)
"Good hotel in a quiet part of the city"
Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. We looked over into peoples gardens so had to keep the curtains shut at night. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of choice. The coffee machine at breakfast was great but the toaster couldn't cope with the demand or the queue's! The Nespresso machine was pretty much a waste of time and slow, fine if you wanted just one type of coffee for the entire stay as none of the others were replenished. The cups in the room too were laughably small. We ended up borrowing two decent sized cups from the restaurant. A quick tram trip into town (10 mins) with a frequent service was very handy.
"Very nice and modern hotel"
Rooms are big, modern, quiet and very comfortable. Very nice, clean and modern bathroom. The front staff was very helpful and friendly. Room is well equipped with refrigerator, safe and free Wifi access. The hotel is close to city center with tram stops nearby. Excellent breakfast buffet. Highly recommend it.
"Beautiful Hotel and wonderful Experience!"
This is a lovely hotel that is a great break from the hustle and bustle! Our room was massive compared to most my husband stayed at in Europe and very clean. Service and food was fantastic and we slept like a baby in the huge and comfortable beds! Breakfast was delicious and offered SO many options to enjoy.
"Clean, comfortable stay close to the heart of Munich"
We stayed with a group recently here for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. Most of the group had rooms facing the courtyard (recommended) and one facing the road (trams and cars). The rooms are extremely clean and the cleaning staff work very hard and often start early to ensure the rooms are of very high standard. My friends stayed on the other side of the courtyard and had bigger rooms but for two of us the room I had was spacious enough compared to other hotel rooms in Europe. The bed & pillow were comfortable, room warm, breakfast busy but plentiful (the champagne at breakfast was a nice touch), reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is close enough in to town that if you like to walk, it isn't too far. There is a tram stop 2 minutes walk away, grocery store across the road and on the same block and some lovely little eating places nearby including the Greek Tavern - Griechische Taverna Kreta Psiloritis II and Lowenbrauer. Our group of friends happily recommend Hotel Europa to visitors in Munich.
