We both enjoyed our weekend break in Cordoba at the Hotel Exe Conquistador we plan a further trip next year and plan to stay at the Conquistador..Comment of B. John , Spain the 2015-04-23
Beautiful hotel , great location, friendly helpful staff. Unfortunately breakfast room small and crowded. Beautiful courtyard outside but not suitable for eating due to smokers. Would have a been a great experience sitting in courtyard for breakfast.
"A very nice and central hotel"
A very clean hotel throughout with a very helpful and friendly staff, a buffet breakfast is served every morning in the breakfast room, I must admit though the breakfast room is too small for the amount of clients staying at this hotel and you can end up queuing to get in, but the very efficient staff will make sure you won't queue for more than fifteen minutes. Its position is excellent, right beside the Mosque/Cathedral.
"Great location, Great service, comfortable Hotel"
The location of this Hotel cannot get any better. The service was excellent, and the hotel accommodations were great, although the room was a little small for American standards. Nevertheless, the room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The service was very good, and the staff very friendly. There was nothing better to relax in the hotel lovely patio, after a long day in Cordoba. I highly recommend this hotel.
"Solid hotel choice"
This hotel is all about location. I mean, the hotel itself is good, but the location is excellent. Walking distance to any notable place in Cordova. Aside for that, the breakfast was excellent. Can't say much more. The room was decent and had everything we needed.
"Cannot beat the location! And archaeological detail inside the hotel!"
We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into this hotel, not fully realising how close it was to the Grand Mosque/Cathedral of Cordoba. Though it was hard to navigate with a car through the one way (and tiny) cobblestone streets of old Cordoba, we reached the hotel finding it directly opposite the grand Mosque. The area is absolutely beautiful, with windy lanes filled with restaurants, houses (that are open during the Patio Festival), shops, museums and religious establishments. It is just perfect for exploring Cordoba. Everything is in close proximity. Though the rooms are quite conservative in terms of space, they were comfortable and the hotel has a wonderful terrace area filled with orange trees; as well as an archaeological feature as it was built on the old ablution area of the Old Mosque. There is a glass enclosure preserving some of this. All in all a good choice.
