My wife and I be just had a great mini break staying at the hotel Feliz in Palma. The hotel is about 200yds off the main Road that runs along the marina. It is in a residential area and there are a couple of run down buildings, but don't be put off by this.We never saw or heard any trouble and we quite happily walked home at night, it only takes a couple of minutes to reach the main road, from here it is a leisurely 20 min walk past the marina full of yachts, to Palma centre, with plenty of bars and restaurants to stop off at on the way. The hotel itself is small and has a well designed patio area at the front where you can eat and drink, there is also a small pool with a glass side that gives the front of the hotel a modern contemporary look. The lobby also acts as the dining area for breakfast, again ,it is small but nicely decorated and the breakfast buffet was very good with a selection of cold meats, cheese, breads, fruit, pastries, drinks etc.On the roof is a small pool and spa with enough room for guests to sunbathe, from here you have views over the marina,it's a great place to spend some chill out time. All staff we dealt with were friendly and attentive. We were in a ground floor room which, although small, was adequate for us and very clean. The bathroom is a bit basic with a small shower, I accidently moved the temp control handle while showering and got a blast of very hot water, so beware.....and no, I am not fat.I also think the shower side screen could be improved as a lot of water ends up on the floor. The only thing that disappointed us was the the fact that our windows opened onto a suburban street at ground level,so we basically had our curtains drawn permanently. The bed and pillows were comfy and we slept well.I would definitely recommend this hotel, just try and avoid the 1st floor rooms, the rooms at the front of the hotel had balconies with views of the marina so ask for one of these. On the last night of your stay you get a complementary bottle of Cava which was a nice touch and was actually quite nice.Would stay again if visiting Palma.
"Great short break"
We were going extremely impressed with Hotel feliz. We followed recommendations and used the no 3 bus to arrive and only a short walk from The bus stop. Hotel feliz is abit far out of Palma but if you are happy to use the bus on either direction to the beach or town it's great. We walked into town there and back most nights which only took about 25 mins. A lovely walk on the promenade. The hotel was extremely clean and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel all over it was wel Maintained. We hired bikes from the hotel again which was great as we didn't need to go into town and could use the cycle paths a few minutes away to explore. The breakfast was lovely a great selection every morning. The terraces were great to sunbathe on however the jacquci wasn't warm'' The only thing we found was the food drinks snacks etc were a bit more expensive than we expected and more than some restaurants in town. There is a supermarket 15 min wak which we used instead. Would definitely recommend and use this hotel again
"Happy Days - Happy Hotel"
This is a comfortable, friendly boutique hotel with a fantastic breakfast that could fill you for the day if you wished! From our arrival welcome drink until our check-out departure it was obvious that this is a customer focused environment. Swedish management shone and Per was a great ambassador for the hotels flair and friendliness. Room 407, although facing away from the harbour, has a large balcony which catches the afternoon sun. Don't miss the rooftop sun-deck and plunge pool. WiFi is strong everywhere. Powerful shower and good bathroom size complemented the room which had a safe and fridge. The comfy bed was bliss. Complimentary Cava bottle was very nice to receive on our final night. Good selection of restaurants around. On good bus service routes and direct to airport. Easy 40 minute (slow) walk to cathedral. Would recommend and return ourselves. Thanks. Stuart & Sarah
The vibe of the hotel was fantastic and combined with price, location and the amazing view from the roof it really was a fantastic place to stay. Small touches really do make the difference here e.g. a glass of cava at check in
Stayed at this lovely hotel for four nights during the easter break. Due to an early flight time we arrived well before our room would be ready but we were still made very welcome on arrival and our case was looked after whilst we went into the city centre for a few hours. The hotel is set back from the front line but this is a good thing as its slightly elevated position offers views of the marina and across to the cathedral. It takes about 20 minutes or so to walk at a fairly leisurely pace along the marina to the edge of the old town but there are regular buses if you require then. Our room was very comfortable, with a balcony at the front and at the rear across the corridor. This rear balcony caught the afternoon sun and has lovely double seat and a table and chairs with views towards the castle. The room was well equipped with a safe, and good sized fridge. Wine glasses and a corkscrew were useful items. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and offers lots of choice of healthy options and good coffee. Very comfortable lounge and external seating added to a very relaxing break.
