"Brilliant and even for my messy stag weekend"
Brilliant hotel for a group of 21 men to be based for a stag party, we were well looked after and received no complaints from anyone. Although we were on our very best behaviour in the hotel of course :-). Breakfast was perfect for soaking up the vast amounts of alcohol that had been consumed the night before we friendly attentive staff always happy to help. My next trip here will be with my new wife. Cannot wait to come back and show here what she missed.
We stayed here for 3 nights in a sea view room. Lovely room with nespresso machine and balcony. Excellent location near town and promenade. Old town 5 min walk away. Great food. We were half board. Chef cooking fresh omelettes to order for breakfast, and meats for dinner. Lovely heated pool - u have to wear a swimming hat that u buy from receptions for 4 euros so might be best to take ur own. Not a huge amount of loungers which may be an issue in high season. Probably most suitable for couples looking for quiet break rather than families. Gym basic but adequate.
Excellent hotel and facilities which appears to have had a recent refurbishment in many of the public areas. Appears to have very high staff / guest ratios for a 4 star hotel which leads to first class service. Great location on the beach and just 300 yards or so from Marbella Old Town. If you like swimming the indoor pool is a real bonus in winter. I would recommend.
Superb hotel , centrally located and close to the beach . The veranda and poolside area where you can relax looking out over the med were great with the weather being so warm . Will defiantly return . Rooms spotless .
"Classic hotel located on prime beach area"
I stayed at Hotel Fuerte Marbella for 2 nights. Check in was quick and the staff were quite nice. This is a large and classic resort style hotel. It's located in a very nice location in Marbella across a small street from the beach. I had a fabulous direct ocean front room. Classically elegant with a nice balcony. I could hear the waves all day. The hotel also has great amenities including an indoor swimming pool for cold windy days. This hotel seems to appeal to a senior demographic. When I was there, I didn't see any families or really anyone below 60yo. That's fine but it feels like a cruise ship type crowd especially in the dining room at breakfast. It's quite a rush to get the prime tables and many of the quests seemed to have their regular favorite tables. It's also quite difficult to get the attention of the restaurant staff. Overall, a lovely hotel in a nice beachfront location.
