"Upgraded to the Ray Charles Suite a Penthouse Suite with 2 vistas"
We've stayed twice at the Hotel this summer once in June where we have a very large City view room which was adequate for our stay as we didn't spend much time they're, Breakfast was always good here especially if you had one of the patio tables outside also in June you could get one of the Hotel's sunbeds on the beach without booking in advance which if we'd known how busy it was going to be in the August we would of booked our beds back then! Our second stay was amazing as I book a sea view room this and we were upgraded to the RC Penthouse Suite which has some of the best views on the Cote d'Azur only downside as I mentioned before we were unable to book any sunbeds the whole 7 days we were there luckily we are very friendly with other beach clubs so it wasn't a problem! Staff were all very friendly and helpful we did only eat in the hotel one night down on the beach restaurant which was lovely food and staff were really good!
"Decent Hotel but lovely location"
I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a business tour. The highlight of the hotel is its location - it is just by the beach and what a lovely view. I was very disappointed not to be given a room facing the sea and only got a room with a street view despite requesting for a sea view room (many of my European colleagues got rooms with sea view!). The hotel itself is nice but felt a bit dated although the housekeeping was very good and the room very clean. The TV had just 3 english channels and all of them were news channels - not very exciting for non-french speakers. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. The desserts served during our buffet lunches were fantastic. All said, the location made the whole stay worthwhile. Since it was off season there wasn't much crowd, so we could enjoy the beach and nearby areas in relative peace.
I had a ver bad experience through the 5 nights that I spent in this hotel, if you are looking for clean rooms dont go there the rooms are old and dirty, i saw the bathrobe and saw hairs on it i asked them to change it so I return and it wasnt changed I threw it on the floor next to the towels and again came back to see it hanged back. Plus i am not sure they have heard of customers service in addition to the bored to the earth morning waiters i sat on the table that had everything like plates mug and napkins it was on the sea so i asked a waitress named Florial for a knife and fork where she said while she putting them on the table why didnt u sit there there are cutlery there and i told her there is a women sitting there her stuff on the table she just left to get something So she pointed to the tables inside and said you could have sat on any of others which have knife and fork!!!! I honestly was so mad i booked the night in the amazing majestic hotel not having to see them the other morning, they dont say good morning and one day they bring coffee others you have to go by yourself to get it. So I don't recommend it at all
Great location right on the beach. There was a good breakfast selection each morning. Our room was well appointed and clean. You can walk on the promenade along the beachfront with a large selection of beach-side cafes. Easy to walk to shops.
"Beach bar is a real jewel for evening drinks"
We love going to the bar on the beach at the Garden Beach hotel- it's a perfect spot for a sundowner, especially as the location on the beach in JLP allows you to appreciate the spectacular sunsets, away from the bustle of the rest of the town in full holiday mode.
