"Unbeatable Views and services"
This hotel can be reached by JR or shuttle bus by certain time, but you can use a shuttle bus to new hankyu hotel and take about 10 mins walk, and buy a return ticket can save money and times. The lobby is at 2nd floor and you can drop your luggage to them before checking time. The staff is helpful and quick check in also they help us to deliver the luggage to room and explain everything to us. We didnt take a breakfast at hotel as they didnt provide a buffet breakfast ,either western or japanese instead. You can eat outside near the hotel. Many restaurants is near by so you won't worry for eating but for breakfast only few open at7 am.The room is quite big with beautiful view either at morning or afternoon. As near the train station so be prepared some noise but acceptable.Overall Highly recommend to you all.
The hotel gets 10/10 from me. The view, the helpful staff & so many other things. It is extremely good. Before booking this hotel so many people recommended intercontinental, which we can see from our view here & it has a bad location compared to Hankyu International. We are here in honey moon. We enjoyed every minute. You have plenty of restaurants, convenient stores, shopping malls, cafés & subway stations. It is highly recommended and a must when you come to Osaka. Their rooms are Kinda bigger than the ones in Japan. The bathroom is luxurious and huge. All & all this hotel is amazing 🌹

"Terrible, outdated "
First, I'll get the good in. The hotel is ideally located 5mins away from Umeda station with tonnes of shopping and restaurants just minutes away. The service was ok as we were largely taken care of throughout the stay. A slight disappointment was not having our rooms ready at 230pm but it is noted that their check in time is 3pm. The concierge recommendation of restaurants were awful but maybe we weren't also completely clear on what we wanted or maybe there was a language problem. I specifically sought out hotels with large gyms and for my stay, the gym was closed on the first day of my visit, without notice. Never mind, so I prefer to work out early in the morning before my day's chore and headed down to the gym at 6am only to find that they don't open until 730am and had regular closing times throughout the day. Maybe this is a Japanese custom but I never had this problem with all of the hotels I stayed at in Tokyo. The rooms were good sized although the deco maybe aging a little but everything was working. One of my biggest problem was that all the rooms were smoking room - they all smell of years of smoke tainted wall paper and carpet. Yes, this was all of the room because we had a group taking three rooms. So yes, it maybe a little harsh to give 1* but based on these two things alone, I cannot justify me paying for a high end 5* hotels and getting motel type amenities and smoked filled room.
