Beautiful hotel with excellent service, location is fairly convenient, close to lots of restaurants and shopping streets. Worth the money for sure!Comment of Z. Nicole , Australia the 2015-05-22
"Great accommodation in a city that is a must see while in Japan."
Beautiful hotel, comfy beds and amazing view. Staff are fantastic being helpful and friendly. Location is great being across the road from some nice eating areas and about 5 minutes walk to subway line. More pricey than some other options in Osaka but if you want to enjoy the nicer comforts with good sized rooms, particularly for Japan, then it is certainly worth staying here and I would definitely stay again.
"Will stay there again"
I chose this hotel because of its room size. Its twin room is much bigger than that in most other hotels in Japan. We needed an extra bed for my daughter. Even after putting the bed there, the room was still very spacious. The bathroom is also a plus. There is a separate shower cubicle which is not very common in Japan. We also got two sets of toiletries and face treatment for female and one set for male each day. The location of the hotel is actually quite close to Osaka Station. On the first day, we just followed the main road and it took about 10 minutes to reach Osaka Station. On the other day, as my daughter opened Google Map and we followed the route. It only took 5 minutes. Just next to the hotel, there is a whole block of LOFT. We spent one whole morning there. The hotel also offered very good service. Whenever we got close to the elevator, the staff of the hotel already pressed the button for us. One note to bear in mind: the lobby of the hotel is on Level 2. Get to it by the escalator. We took some time to figure it out. On our departure, we waited for the airport bus at the lobby. A receptionist came to us to see if we were waiting for the bus. She offered to keep our luggage and inform us when the bus came. Then the bell boy helped to take our luggage to the bus. We didn’t even have to put it onto the bus. Thanks a lot to them. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and I will stay there again.
"Nice Modern Hotel"
Stayed here with the family for a total of three nights (2+1) with one night in Kyoto. Location whilst considered close to Osaka Station is not as near as the Hotel New Hankyu. Depending on which part of the vast station you need, the walk is anywhere from 5-10 minutes. We were fortunate as we did not encounter any rains when we were visiting. The hotel consists of the upper floors of a building with offices below. The lobby is on level 2. The basement of the building has other restaurants although we did not try them. Nearby are plenty of food choices. We randomly walked into two with available tables and found the food to be delicious. Communication was easy enough with many locals we encountered in Osaka possessing a better grasp of the English language compared to other parts of Japan. The rooms were large enough even with the extra bed. Cleanliness was up to the usual standard although the pillows were a bit softer than what I'm used to. Views from the upper floors were fantastic. Wifi was good and the TV came with BBC News and free access to a number of video on demand shows. Staff were courteous and helpful. Without us telling them, the bellhop that came to collect our luggage knew that we wanted to store the luggages as needed only a small bag for our overnight stay in Kyoto. Other than the slight distance to the train station, really nothing else to note. Will definitely consider coming back if we are ever in Osaka again.
The hotel is really beautiful. Our room had a wonderful view on Osaka from the 29th floor and it was by far the most spacious and luxurious we had in hotels in Japan. Staff very present and helpful for any necessity.
" Nice hotel : big room - reasonable location "
Hankyu international (not to be confused with new Hankyu) is good hotel. The rooms are extremely large compared to Japanese standards. A family of 2 adults and 2 children for comfortably. For transfer from the airport, we took the airport limousine bus to new hankyu. We were able to walk to the hotel in about 10 minutes but doing it this way means your luggage should hv wheels and the family has to be mobile. Staff were very polite and very helpful. We had a great stay!
