"Brilliant Hotel, we will be back!"
This hotel ticks all the boxes, the staff are all very helpful and welcoming. Our room was on the 6th floor and was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was excellent. The beds are comfy as are the pillows. Breakfast was busy but the staff were on top of replenishing the food which was plentiful and very tasty. We will visit again soon.
"Amazing Friendly Staff "
I stayed at the hotel over the weekend to celebrate Mothers Day. From calling the hotel the week before to leaving the hotel on Sunday morning all the staff I met or spoke to very friendly and professional at all times. I had arranged flowers for my mother, which they kept the secret from my mother when checking in. Thank you very much to the lady who checked us in, sorry didn't catch your name - thank you for being amazing with checking us in and giving us taxi information, going that extra mile to keep the flowers a secret from my mother. Lovely clean and quiet room and the free mini bar is a good touch. Didn't have much chance to see much of the other facilities of the hotel - but good location for Liverpool town centre and not far to Anfield. Please could you pass on my comments to the lady who checked us in. Would stay again in this hotel or other Hotel Indigo if all the staff are trained and are as helpful as everyone at Hotel Indigo Liverpool.
"Nice modern hotel"
A great modern hotel in the centre of town. Ten minute walk to the Albert Dock. Room was modem and clean, I was here 4 nights, a little disappointed the room was not thoroughly cleaned over the 4 days. Bed not changed and floors were very dusty by the time I left. Room service was good, but took a long time! Breakfast was ok, hot food sat for a long time. Good selection and Very friendly restaurant staff.
"Don't be fooled"
Last week we spent a night at The Indigo. We were able to check in early and the initial impression was very good. The room was very modern and stylish. We were booked in for dinner in the Marco Pierre White steakhouse and grill in the hotel on a special 2 course menu. We paid an extra £9 each for 2 rib eye steaks. My girl friends had so much gristle and I sent mine back as I asked for medium and it came up rare. Probably the worst steaks we have had. Very disappointing for a MPW restaurant. We did not pay the surcharge. The room at night was on the inside of the hotel. Unfortunately the room was very warm and we had the window open to hear the sound of a generator all night. Finally we were told that we could park in the local car park and instead of £8 per day we would get a £2 discount. Actually the daily rate is £13.50 with a £6 discount And the extra 2 hours cost us another £8.50 making the total of £16 for 26 Hours. All in all a very disappointing hotel which should be a lot better.
Room was nice enough, staff were pleasant but....that breakfast was dreadful! One coffee machine for all, 10 min queue, soggy scrambled eggs, dried-up fried egg and charred, fatty sausages. What are you thinking'! Buffet breakfast works if you invest in more staff and better ingredients. Kind of felt like an over-priced Premier Inn stay, truth be told. Sorry, can't recommend
