"Great location, clean and comfortable!"
Close to Albert Docks, perfect location for shopping on Liverpool 1, bars & restaurants and the Cavern. Our room was clean, modern & the bed comfortable, thick bath towels and tea & coffee making facilities. Snacks & soft drinks were provided at no extra charge & replenished daily. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of variety, hot & cold food included. The friendly staff were only too happy to provide information on things to do & places to eat.
"You get what you pay for. Worth the money."
I stayed in the Hotel Indigo for two nights for work and I have to say, it wasn't half bad. I paid £93 a night for a Mon/Tue night. Location was great for me, as my office was around the corner (literally), not so great for the major train stations (though I paid £4 in Uber to get to Lime Street which is hardly bank breaking). Moorfields station is also < 2 mins away. Service was great. Especially in the seating area where there was good table service, friendly staff, clean and tidy, and nicely laid out. Free internet... everywhere, bar, seating area, rooms, everywhere... and strong, so that was definitely a ++. Rooms were nice, I was in room 108. Big comfortable bed, not too big a room, but table and chair, tub chair, I've stayed in smaller. Iron was in the room with a ironing board. Always helpful. No trouser press though. Huge shower, nice and hot with a rainfall shower head. I did have one annoyance, when you turn the air con off (and I hate the air con) it makes an annoying whirring and incremental clicking sound all night. Now I'm not a light sleeper but I can imagine others would find it annoying. Told the check-out clerk who responded that I should have contacted them to come fix it. When I responded that it was like 1am when I noticed it and I didn't fancy a workman trying to fix it at that time she kind of gave me a "well, you made a choice" type of expression. When you ask "how was your stay, was everything ok", you kinda should be a bit more open to a better way of answering that question, but, c'est la vie. I was on the same floor as the gym, it was small, few bikes, couple of running machines, few free weights, but if you were there late or early, not too prohibitive. If there was a spin symposium on though, you'd be pretty stuck! Slightly expensive bar for Liverpool IMO, so something to think about, but for a Marco Pierre White branded location, I personally wasn't surprised. As the title of my review says. You get what you pay for. It wasn't too steep too, but that said, I live in London.
"Amazing 2 night stay"
Took my 8 year old son for his first Goodison Park experience and booked 2 nights in the Indigo Hotel. From the second we arrived the reception and other staff were constantly friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, especially my son who kept telling me he felt like a VIP 😂 Breakfast was superb and the bar staff a credit to the company. Great staff, great food and great experience. Will be back
Stayed here while on a visit to Liverpool. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and service was excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and colourful too. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold foods. Almost gave 5 stars except for machine drinks at breakfast!
"Great hotel,location - book it!"
First but not last stay here that's for sure. Super welcoming reception staff, cannot praise them enough - quick efficient check-in and fab double room with comfy bed and spacious room. Very quiet at night so good nights sleep, the Marco Pierre White bar grill was verrrrry good value and well worth it. Great shower and drinks and snacks in our room nice touch. We didn't use the gym but saw it was small but well equipped. We stayed for concert at Echo arena and taxi was only £4 so if weather is bad it wasn't a dear journey. Lisa was lovely and charming and obviously enjoys her job - Daniel at breakfast was ever so caring and attentive and nothing too much trouble for him, a true gent. Rooms spotless and had complimentary soaps, shampoo etc. Great location just 10mins walk from Liverpool Lime Street station, Liverpool one and Albert Dock a ten min walk away also. Lovely hotel, lovely staff ..... We had lovely stay .
