"10 star Service "
Not often these days hotel hospitality and service go the extra mile with a true human touch. Erica E. and Lindsay are milenials that really get hospitality and customer service . Richard in engineering was great as well. The rooms are great as is the hotel in general. I will stay here again. And again. Scott from phoenix.
"I like this Gaslamp hotel"
I have stayed at many Indigo’s in the past in major cities. I like the Indigo’s, including this particular one in San Diego’s Gaslamp district as you can see from my last review. My check-in and check-out went smoothly here as usual. My king bedroom 706 had some nice views of PetCo Park. My room cost $236 including all fees and taxes. I had a rental car so the daily valet cost added an additional $45 per day. I enjoyed the views from my room and the Level 9 rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is only open in the evening, but, you can still go up to Level 9 to get some sun during the day. When the weather is cold there are natural gas fire pits to enjoy the warmth. Hotel food service is also available during the day on level 9.
"Amazing Dog Friendly Hotel"
This is our go to hotel in San Diego. It is super dog friendly, the staff is excellent and the accommodations are clean, modern and well appointed. Level 9 overlooks Petco Park and is always a good time. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to be in the heart of the Gaslamp in SD. We will be back next time we are in town!
"Great location, great service, lousy beds"
We were there for a family wedding with people coming from everywhere from NYC to LA. The staff was terrific, both friendly and helpful; they seemed to enjoy working there, which tells you something. A block from Petco Park (baseball), on the edge of the very walkable Gaslamp district, and plenty of interesting pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Spent part of one evening on the terrace bar and that was very nice with a nice view. The lobby bar had good snacks, such as flatbreads, and even some nice wine (Cakebread Cellars chardonnay) available. Plus that didn't apply to us: very dog friendly. I've never seen more dogs passing through a hotel lobby. Negatives: Parking was $45/night. Yowch! A common but tacky way of making their rates seem lower. But...the beds. Far too soft for me. And the pillows were far to thick for those of us who sleep on our stomachs. When I awoke in the middle of the night it took me a while to fall back asleep and then not deeply. Even my wife, who is less picky about beds, said she slept more shallowly than usual.
"Great Location but lacks service."
We booked the Hotel Indigo because of the location and ease of walking in San Diego. We had a double queen room and it was clean and comfortable. We were alllowed to check in two hours early. Our room received service the first day, but, not the second. When we arrived back late that afternoon, we had to ask for clean towels. We shared this with the desk the next morning and they assured us they would get us service as soon as we left the next morning. However, the same thing happened the next day....6 pm and no service. We called and they sent someone up to clean. They did, however, comp our breakfast for this mixup. We had room service two out of five days.
