"Basic but acceptable,"
This hotel is very basic but clean and friendly staff. It's quite a walk to the centre of Prague. The breakfast was also very basic but good enough to start your day with. I would have preferred to be closer to centre but appreciated the quiet tranquillity of the hotel. It also has a beer spa. Bathing in beer with your other half with beer on tap !!! Amazing x
"A pleasant surprise"
A beautiful hotel in Art Deco style. Large rooms, goed beds, quiet and a very friendly staff. We stayed there for 4 nights. The breakfast was ok and so was the food in the restaurant. Not spectacular bur for a very low price. We enjoyed every minute. Tip: near the hotel at the right in de main street, you can find a little asian restaurant Mei Li Cheng. We can recommand this too, delicious!
"Average Hotel, old dated"
The hotel is old dated, it needs some renewing. Room was big and clean but when you turn the AC on heat there was a bad smell coming out in the room. Staff was ok but one of the receptionist that checked us in was rude and trying to be funny. The best thing about the hotel is that its close to city center 15 min with tram and 15 min with metro. In a good and quiet area. Gym was good. Overall if there was some renewing of the building it would be great but at this stage no more than an average 3 star hotel
Hotel was average it looked great from outside and the rooms were ok they were very clean an cleaned every day the breakfast was awful the hot food was cold the scrambled eggs not cooked properly so had to make do with toast and cereal but my biggest problem was the staff except for the lady receptionist who was there when we arrived and gave us directions and information the rest of them all men were just rude unpleasant and unhelpful!
"Communist-era hotel & easy to get into the city centre"
The building has some interesting history being a hotel used for high level Communists when still behind the "Iron Curtain". Rooms are quite large, comfortable but not luxurious, service was fairly average but not bad. The breakfast wasn't the best but acceptable for a hotel of this standard. The tram stops just out the front and was fairly cheap and easy to get in and out of the city centre. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a tour group.
