"What a fabulous hotel! "
It has been our experience that not all hotels that are listed as five star, live up to that standard. This cannot be said of the Jardines de Navaria however. Everything about it is five star. Our room was fabulous. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. We had booked a sea view and what a sea view we got! Views down the coast in each direction and beautiful sunsets every evening. Our terrace, which was huge, contained two sun loungers and an umbrella. The pool area is exceptionally nice and has plenty of sun loungers. There are two main pools, one heated salt water pool and one unheated fresh water pool, both equally inviting. The food is excellent with a wide choice. I would defy anyone not to find more than a few things to their liking. The main restaurant is mainly buffet style but there is the option of having waiter service for the main course should you wish. Personally we liked to have a good look around and watch the many dishes been cooked in front of you, before making our choices. The ambience in the main restaurant is really nice, very open and light. The food in the pool side side restaurant is of an equally high standard with, once again, plenty of choice. The staff are all fantastic and cannot do enough for you. They are all so good that it seems unfair to name names but Guillermo, Kristina, Victor and Yolanda in the bar, together with Aria in the restaurant, all deserve a special mention. The hotel is very well situated and has nice walks in each direction. We walked in to both La Caleta in one direction and Playa de las Americas in the other direction. It would be difficult to think of a better hotel that we have stayed in. I certainly can't think of a cleaner one. Everywhere was absolutely spotless. This has gone on to the list of hotels that we will definitely go back to. In fact, we can't wait to return!
"Really lovely hotel"
Spent 5 days at Jardines de Nivaria at the beginning of February 2017. We just needed a complete break somewhere warm - plenty of R&R - and the hotel delivered! Great room, great position in G block overlooking the promenade with a great sea view (3rd floor). There is a restaurant opposite which had live music every day - loud enough to hear and enjoy from the balcony but not too loud or late. We were half board and the food was excellent. Excellent hair dryer and shower - both important quality measures for us ;) The swimming pool was lovely - warm, easy to access and there were plenty of sun beds - and the gardens were lovely. Not much happening socially to our taste but then early February they cater mainly for an older clientele.
"Amazing once again"
We just returned from our fifth stay in this beautiful hotel and were not disappointed. We really liked the design of the newly refurbished rooms but were glad that the general character and design of the hotel remained unchanged. As usual, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The other things which have not changed, and this is the main reason why we keep returning, is that the hotel staff is amazingly friendly, the quality of food and drink is first class, and the general atmosphere calm and peaceful. A visit in the Tiffany bar is still our personal daily highlight- lovely piano music, beautiful surroundings and friendly bar staff. We will definitely be back!
"Fantastic relaxing hotel"
Just returned from a blissful week with my husband yesterday and had the best time ever. Room was fantastic, staff were so attentive couldn't do enough for you. The food was outstanding and loved having my breakfast in the sun on the balcony. Thank you for the bubbly and rose left in our room for my birthday, what a lovely gesture. Our room was spotless everyday and never had such an abundance of fresh towels left twice a day! We have this morning been back to travel agents to return in September! I'm already counting the day. Thanks again to staff for making our holiday so pleasurable 😘
"A relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings"
We have just returned from a one week holiday break for sun and relaxation. The hotel is beautiful and we like all the art deco design and interior decoration. The glass dome is spectacular when the sun shines through. The whole hotel is spotless and the grounds and everything are well kept and the gardens beautifully manicured. There are plenty of lounge beds and although there were a few early birds out there to bag there places we did not have to worry about getting one later on in the morning. There was also a good amount of room between them. A brilliant idea for getting towels. We were given two cards and then could collect a larger towelling wrap which fitted over the top of the lounge bed for security and then another towel for use after swimming etc. On leaving the area the towels would then be returned to the kiosk and two cards returned for use another day. Great idea - leaves beds clear for new people when vacated and not strewn with used towels and then saves staff the task of collecting all the used towels! The pools are great and again beautifully clean and we loved the waterfalls around the pool and down at the bridge leading to the Guajara rooms. We were greeted at the reception and given clear details of the hotel and the surrounding facilities. A few more welcome smiles would have been nice. They were very efficient but it looked as if it was more of a duty than a pleasure. We had booked a junior suite which we thought would be a treat and were hoping for a balcony. We were shown first to Guajara 103. The room was great the the bathroom beautiful but outside a miniscule terrace right up against the boundary wall and next to the plaza walkway with a bar/club opposite. We did not stay there and asked to be moved. We were moved 3 doors down with the same room configuration and larger terrace but again right next to the walkway and also Tony Romas almost next door. As it was early evening we decided to stay with this room G106 as were were told there would be nothing else available until Tues (we arrived on the Sun). We were not prepared to live out of a suitcase for three days and have to move half way through a weeks holiday. We were informed that 80% of the juniour suites were on the ground floor. We feel we might have done better just to have a double room with a sea view having later had time to look more carefully around the hotel. If we stayed longer we might have moved. However we did have to put up with music from Tony Romas and noise from a wedding party during the week. The suite was comfortable, well furnished and the bathroom was fantastic. A separate shower and bath and his and hers basins and vanity mirror. There were no facilities for making tea or coffee and if you wanted it they would provide with a 15Euro charge. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with so much choice and so fresh and constantly topped up. One of the best we have had in a hotel. The same could be said for dinner when we had a meal one night. The waiters were attentive and very pleasant two especially made it such a pleasant experience - Iria and Miguel - always smiling. When my husbands napkin fell on the floor when he went off to the buffet, the napkin was picked up and replaced with a fresh one. Good attention to detail - full marks. We also ate in the special restaurant -La Cupula - fabulous views from the top floor and we had the chef's special menu - it was delicious and so well balanced with all the courses. We would like to return as we did enjoy our stay. A different room would have made the experience so much more enjoyable. The hotel is set in a quieter end of Costa Adeje and not so busy and noisy as towards Eugenia etc. A great walk along the promenade towards Playa del Duque and La Coleta. Much more up market and serene.
