"Can't wait to go back"
At the airport now, waiting to fly back to London and I am already searching online for dates next year when we can return to this wonderful hotel. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and made the stay exceptional. I'm not sure I would go to any other hotel in Malta now as they will only disappoint.
"Friendly, beautiful hotel"
My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Hotel Juliani. It went above and beyond our expectations. We cannot compliment the staff enough for how friendly and helpful they were throughout our visit, especially to my boyfriend who is a wheelchair user so needed a hand reaching the poolside. We treated ourselves to one of the designer suites on the second floor - it was beautiful, both homely and luxurious, especially the bathroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi bath. The breakfasts were delicious (very good coffee!) and the view from the rooftop is unbeatable. The hotel is also ideally placed for exploring Malta - there is a bus stop right outside and most places of interest can easily be reached within an hour. We will be returning!
"Boutique hotel overlooking Spinola Bay"
Stayed here for 3 nights 14-17th October 2016 chosen for it's proximity to The Jazz Cave which we were attending to see some friend performing during what the. Luv called Turkish week. Could not have been closer since it turned out the the Jazz Cave although a separate commercial enterprise with its own entrance occupied the basement of the hotel. The hotel has about 47 bedrooms we had a standard double which had a king sized bed ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over. The room was spotless on arrival and the standard of the housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was served in the downstairs lounge area and offered all the usual choices of continental or a cooked breakfast. Great coffee (Illy) and fresh orange juice were readily available but served from the bar. The staff were friendly efficient and unobtrusive which I think is always a plus. My criticisms were that the lighting in the room was inadequate for reading and there was only one free electric socket which made charging laptops I-pads and phones a real chore, also the in room safe was far too small and would not take a 13 inch laptop. Other than these minor boggles the hotel is a good example of a privately owned boutique hotel and compares favourably to the big chains although it was quite a bit more expensive.
"Friendly and comfortable hotel"
We stayed here for a week in October and had a lovely room on the 8th floor with a balcony overlooking Spinola Bay. This was in effect the top floor of the hotel, with just a small pool and comfortable seating and sun lounger area above us. On arrival at the hotel the staff were very welcoming and friendly as they were during all of our stay. The room was very comfortable with a decent bathroom including a jacuzzi bath and shower. An added bonus was the tea and coffee making facilities plus a mini bar fridge with enough space for a couple of personal drinks. A small safe was also included. In addition to the swimming pool area was a small gym on the 2nd floor with a bike, cross trainer and treadmill plus a good selection of free weights, although this facility seemed little used. We had breakfast included. The selection was excellent with cold meats and cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, bread and pastries plus a hot selection of scrambled egg with beans, bacon and mushrooms/courgettes/tomatoes. Eggs could also be cooked to order as required. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and quick to offer tea, coffee and orange juice and any refills required. The hotel was very well situated with a number of good restaurants within a few minutes walk and bus stops within a few yards for trips further afield such as Valetta or Mdina. When we visit Malta again, as I'm sure we will, we will definately look to book this hotel again. Ideal if you prefer the smaller boutique type of hotel.
Great hotel. Welcoming staff and very friendly and very clean. Home away from home. Bus stop at door. Lots of restaurants to choose from, ranging from expensive to budget friendly, just step out the door. Swimming can be in the rooftop pool or a short walk to Spinola or Ballutta bays.
