"Great Value & Location"
The rooms were spacious and had all the requirements you need for a great stay, the staff even upgraded us to a room over looking the river. The breakfast was great and plentiful and we even had a drink on the top floor balcony. The hotel is less than 15 minute walk from the old town (even with 2 bad knees) and less than 20 mins from the Jewish quarter, It was also handy as we had booked a couple of trips prior to of our break and the pick up point was across the road from the hotel. The area is well lit and safe and a taxi rank is just across the road. There are 2 supermarkets less than 2 minutes away and a Kebab shop next door which is very popular morning, noon & night so you wont go hungry. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again next time we go to Krakow
"Comfortable, spacious room"
Stayed here for 3 nights with my fiance earlier this month. I appreciated receiving an email before our stay asking if we required transfers from the airport. Our room was on the fifth floor so didn't encounter any problems with noise from traffic at all. Our room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. Contemporary decor, a modern feel and very clean. I quite liked the fact that the tv played through speakers in the bathroom... Although only 1 or 2 channels were in English and they were both sports channels. Great location. Walking distance to both Wawel Castle and the main square. Breakfast was a bit unusual however... There was no one standing at the door, waiting to greet us, take our room number or show us to a table. I think we literally could have walked straight in off the street, had breakfast, left without paying and no one would have batted an eyelid. We barely got a "morning" from one member of staff and empty plates seemed to sit on the table for a while. There wasn't much choice in the way for vegetarians either and the bacon and eggs didn't look very appetising. I would stay at this hotel again but I would have breakfast elsewhere.
"weekend city break 13th October"
This hotel was perefect for our use, 15 minutes or less walk into the Old Town, little noise from the ring road and the site felt very secure. Perfect for a city break where you spend alot of time and about, yet enough luxery to be happy to rest a while and enjoy a drink in the on site bar. Enjoyed the breakfast room very much.
"Lovely hotel and great location"
Lovely clean hotel. Good breakfast but did not eat evening meal here as we were out and about so much. Very good location for walking around. Staff very helpful, especially Reception staff, advised us on trips etc and helped to book. We would love to go back to Kraków and would use Kossak Hotel again.
"Excellent location for touring Kracow"
This is a very good hotel in an ideal location for touring the beautiful city of Kracow. We stayed for a week with friends and had a fabulous time. Knowing we would only be in the hotel for a limited time we booked basic rooms which were at the back of the hotel. Well equipped, well decorated and quiet these were ideal for our needs. I suspect the more expensive river view rooms at the front of the hotel could get noise from the road and trams below. The terrace restaurant overlooks the river and castle. We had a beautifully presented meal here on our first night which we all felt was good value for money for the quality and service received. Do book though as the restaurant did get busy. Breakfasts were perfectly adequate with plenty of choice. The only fault was that dishes were not replenished quickly, if at all. Asking a member of staff for more bacon my husband was told it would be there soon. None appeared for the rest of that breakfast session and we found the same with other items too. The hotel is within 10 minutes walk of the main city attractions. There is also a tram stop and taxis near the hotel if you need to use public transport. We used the hop on hop off bus for those attractions, like Schindler's Factory, that were a little further afield. The stop for this is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We received a warm and informative welcome at reception and most staff were helpful and friendly. We have already recommended this hotel to friends and will certainly use it again if we return to Kracow.
