"Loved it! "
Just returned from a friends birthday trip to Hotel Lapad and loved every minute of it. Hotel was clean, friendly and had everything we could want. Breakfast great, bar service brilliant and reception staff very accommodating. Will definitely be back in the future.
"Great hotel, comfortable, clean & value-for-money"
We stayed here for 3 nights, which we had restful stay & enjoyed our time here very much! The hotel & its room are generally spacious, plenty of window & very clean. The staff are friendly & attentive. The location offers more peaceful evenings than the busy old town. Our reservation came with a dinner buffet, which we were slightly let down by its spread & quality. However, their buffer breakfast is excellent, widespread with various hot & cold dishes, pastries & fruits. Transportation: There is a bus-stop right in front of the hotel, but that is for buses FROM the old town (Bus 6 & 9, at least). To head to the old town, the bus stop is about 5 minutes walk upon turning right from the hotel (right in front of The Solar Shop, opposite a park & playground). From main bus station, a taxi ride costs 10 euro (or HRK75). Otherwise it is accessible by foot for about 20-30 minutes, flat route along the seaside. Note: There is a large marina under construction during our stay, which is slightly disappointing, as the view in front of the hotel would have been excellent without it.
"Very welcoming and helpful staff and excellent breakfasts."
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The staff were very welcoming and worked their hardest to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The dining room staff served us with a smile and a spring in their step, and the breakfast atmosphere was so pleasant one could sit there all day... One point to note is the matresses are quite hard, but this seems to be common in Croatia as everywhere we stayed had the same thing. Thats not to say its uncomfortable, but they are just harder than one expects. Otherwise, fully recommend this hotel in the magical city of Dubrovnik.
"Seven day break to Croatia"
Spent seven days in Croatia, hotel nice room very modern and comfortable. More a hotel as a base for sightseeing no lounge area they had a bar but as we had a couple of bad days weather wise there was no were you could relax in the hotel apart from your room. Food was basic but tasty not much variety. Staff were excellent very helpful and polite. Took a trip to Montenegro had to cross two border crossings which took forever so be prepared if you decide to do that trip. Dubrovnik was very good walked the wall round the city . All in all very good trip but for us four days would have been plenty for sighseeing found seven days to much.
