"Pleasant stay with fantastic hospitality"
We had 3 lovely days the Las Arenas. The hotel was ideally located right on the beach front, which at this time of year was not of that much use but the views from our room and balcony were fantastic. The hotel staff were all very helpful and we had a deluxe room that was clean and a good size with really cool bathroom. The breakfast was truly amazing, with so much on offer and all of such high quality. The spa was the perfect way to unwind each day with a really good Thermal Circuit which we used on all of our 3 nights stay. I have to make a special mention of Mr Sergio Ramos. He was exceptional and very much pivotal in us making our reservation. He helped us with our booking and did all he could to make our stay extra special. To the extent that when we arrived he came to reception to greet us personally as well as stopping when he saw us during our stay to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. he really is a credit to the hotel.
"Great place-bad time to visit"
This hotel is worth another visit in high-season. It has everything you need especially when the weather is good. It is yards from a fantastic stretch of level sandy beach. It has plenty of space in it's grounds for a lovely evening stroll and you have choice....the big outdoor pool or the neat little indoor pool. We can only imagine how in-demand this place is when it is high season but because we arrived in the main winter months (for business reasons) it's faults appeared. One is, you must go across a courtyard to get to the indoor pool from the hotel (but they did provide us with umbrellas). Also, they could do with providing "SKY SPORTS" or similar because if the weather confines you to your room, there is no sports channel to switch on and also, it was a "SMART" T.V. but we could not get it to switch from Spanish to English as we have little or no grasp of Spanish. Apart from these minor problems there is a lot more good to say about this place. The main thing is their staff.....excellent people and they will do anything they can to accommodate your needs. The girl at the desk just wanted us to enjoy our stay so so much and the staff in the restaurant served anything our "fussy" child had a longing for, even when it was not on the menu. The location is great for summer but it is out next to the port, so a bit remote from the town center for this time of the year. But a second visit, under better conditions we are sure, will make this place a palace for your summer vacation. As for the rooms, they are very good in size and laid-out so well. Our only problem was, we were given a room that had no balcony (which seems to be only one of a few of that type) when the hotel was empty and they could have put us in any one, of the many, with balcony's. If the weather was not so bad we would have requested a move to a room with a balcony. So note that when you are booking. While this place feels rich....for what you are getting.....it is bound to please you.
We had the absolute pleasure of staying here twice in the past few months. Firstly in July as a family break with our 4 boys when we stayed over a long weekend at the Las Arenas Suite. The hotel is very well located and the setting beautiful, right on the beach which is really magnificent. Its almost like a Californian beach as its really wide and deep and has a great promenade which runs right in front of the the hotel. The hotel itself is really, really fabulous and our suite was out of this world. Decorated beautifully it had 2 bedrooms and an interconnecting lounge, we were all blown away. The pool is beautiful, not massive but a nice size and again very reminiscent of perhaps a Vegas hotel - white and very stylish. We ate in the pool restaurant and the food was first class. Our children aged from 5 until 12 years old dipped in and out of the kids club and had a great time. The hotel is a great base to explore Valencia from and their are a wealth of things to do - the hotel helped us organise bikes to cycle along the promenade, there is a great aquarium, zoo, science museum. All in all such a great holiday that we went back in October half term where we treated so well again and vowed to revisit.

"Is this the friendliest hotel in Europe'"
We stayed at Las Arenas for four nights as our five star treat to ourselves after a long drive across Spain. It was the very end of October, but it might have been mid-summer - the sun was out, the pool was surrounded by sun-bathers and the crowds were packed into the restaurants along the front (La Pepica - one of Ernest Hemingway's old haunts - remains the best, serving really good rice dishes with style). It was glorious! But the icing on the cake was this lovely hotel, full of smiling, efficient, friendly staff who were always on hand to help, advise and serve. We had a seaview room with great sunrises to watch each morning, the breakfasts were splendid and the spa was one of the best I have visited in Europe, with a thermal circuit included in the treatments. Valencia is a delightful city with masses to do and plenty of places to visit, but we loved the hotel so much it was hard to tear ourselves away! Thank you Las Arenas! Volveremos!
