Very modern and different. The staff was great. If you are in town for a hockey game, its the best location in the city. Didnt have to walk out doors to go to the game. Price is higher, but if your in Toronto to treat your self, it great.
I stayed at Le Germain MLS for the first time in October 2016 and while the location, amenities and décor were top notch, the service was decidedly less than I expected. Having stayed at other Le Germain properties I was beyond surprised at that experience. While my overall initial stay was quite negative I found the management to be exceptionally responsive in both hearing my concerns and trying to restore my impressions of the brand. More significant than my initial concerns was the sincere effort on the part of Le Germain MLS staff to ensure that my legitimate criticisms were addressed. As noted in my previous review, the rooms are well appointed, linens comfortable and location is perfect. From check in through check out staff were helpful and attentive with even housekeeping staff going out of their way to assist me with an unexpected issue. Staff in the dining area were attentive and food ordered from à la carte menu was well-prepared and quickly delivered. Overall this is a tremendous boutique chain and with the exception of one seemingly anomalous experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
It is next to the Air Canada Centre and very easy to get to from the highway. Nice boutique hotel with a great free breakfast in the morning. Modern, clean and good size rooms. All of the most popular attractions are nearby. Taxis or the subway are just outside the front door. Free wifi.
Excellent location, your right beside the ACC! CN tower, Rogers Center and Ridleys Aquarium just up the street! Our second stay here and there will be many more! Rooms are comfy and staff very friendly and helpful :)
"Great hotel, and I will be staying here again!"
I primarily picked this hotel due to the proximity to the office where I was working, but was very impressed with it for reasons beyond location. It was an unexpected perk to find that breakfast was included - normally I would not expect that in a hotel of this tier. The breakfast had a good range of tasty items; I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon one morning. The rooms are very chic, the bed was very comfortable, and the rain showerhead was lovely. I really appreciated all the little details of what was provided in the hotel room, such as free Davids Tea bags and Nespresso, and a hair dryer that included the special attachment for curly hair. My only very minor complaint is that when I had my shoes shined I was not informed in advance that there would be a charge associated, but as the charge was minor ($5) I did not mind too much.
