"Constantly renovating and repair. No Fridge in rooms."
Stayed in Nov 2016 and had Fridge not working problems....was told all will be fixed soon - Was checking out hotels for May 2017 travel and checked reviews - The problem is still there! My comment is diito to the one I have cut and pasted from a recent review. "...The room's refrigerator never worked the whole time. Minimally, it's nice to have cold bottles of water. I called the desk and got a reply that they'd "send someone right up to fix it," but it never happened for the whole stay. I pulled it out of its enclosure myself to see that everything was connected, and it was. When I queried people I'd gotten to know, theirs didn't work either, nor was theirs ever fixed. So if you like using a fridge, ask about it when you check in....."
"Good location and friendly staff "
The concierge was helpful and friendly. Check in was easy and fast. We appreciated hot coffee and small croissants at the early morning check out. (We checked out before 7am) The rooms are decent. It's not a fancy but just what we needed. We didn't spend too much them in the room anyways. There is so much to see and do in Paris. Our room had lots of storage and view of the garden. The best part is that the airport shuttle picks up and drops off across the street. Easy access to the airport and main sites. It is a walking distance to Champs-Elysees and Arc de Triomphe.
We stayed four nights at the hotel and found it very comfortable and a great location to go to different attractions. If you want tickets for any attraction they have the best concierges there that will go the extra mile to get tickets for you. If you are Canadian there is a pub called The Canadian Embassy located right next door to make you feel at home.
"A Great Place for Paris"
We stayed three nights and greatly enjoyed our stay. The room was quite attractive and contemporary..Generous sized bathroom with a great shower and counter space. Another reviewer mentioned that the room was small; maybe we lucked out because the room was definitely of nice size, similar to what I'd expect in the U.S. Bring at least a 6-outlet power strip for the convenience of charging all your toys in one place, such as on the desk. You'll need a Europe adapter to plug it into, and then into the European outlet. Our stay was a contract deal between the hotel and Viking, so the cost was included in our Viking cruise. The staff was very friendly and the concierge service was really helpful. For example, for directions or transportation questions, they'd mark a map and give you all the specifics. The hotel's location was good, but not really walking distance to any of the biggies (Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc). But the good news is that the hotel is near a couple Metro subway stops, as well as Paris's excellent bus lines (buy a 10 ticket book which is good for both, if you're going to use the system at all). And don't forget that Uber's available in Paris, and if there are a couple of you or more, it's actually cheaper than the Metro. Of course, your cell phone needs to be working, as well as having an Uber account and Uber app loaded on it. Taxis are expensive--I couldn't find any trips that were under €12 each way (I asked the driver first). As mentioned by others, the included buffet breakfast is outstanding with a huge variety of foods, juices, and other drinks. It's offered in potentially several rooms, but it seems that only one room offered cooked-to-order items such as omelettes. So my advice would be to make sure you land in that one--just ask. My only complaint, and this is minor, and you may not even care. The room's refrigerator never worked the whole time. So if you like using a fridge, ask about it when you check in. I dunno--maybe they've fixed the problem by now. The lobby is spacious and offers a friendly atmosphere. We had so much going during our stay that we didn't avail ourselves of any of the many other hotel amenities--just the ones I've mentioned. I definitely recommend the hotel for your Paris stay.
"Aware of my needs"
I was part of a tour group. When I got there and went up to my room I realized that, even though I had requested, the tour group manager had neglected to book a handicap room for me. I immediately went down to the desk and told them my problem. I was immediately switched with no hassle. They sent someone up to transfer my luggage to the new room for me. I was very grateful, as you can imagine.
